2011 was The Year NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart scored His 3rd & Final Cup Series Championship (Which alongside Stewart's 2nd Championship sandwiched NASCAR Hall of Famer Jimmie Johnson's 5 Consecutive Championships from 2006-2010) in The Sport's First Ever Tiebreaker against NASCAR Hall of Famer Carl Edwards with:
5 Wins
9 Top 5s
19 Top 10s
And a 12th Place Average Finish in The Duration of The 36-Race Season.
Whereas Edwards':
1 Win
19 Top 5s
26 Top 10s
And a 9. 3 Average Finish would have won him his 2nd & Final Cup Series Championship under The Winston Cup Format with The First One coming in 2008.
Both Stewart & Edwards would retire from Competition at The Very Same Track & Event on The Very Same Day 5 Years Later being The Race where Johnson scored his Record Tying 7th Cup Series Championship joining NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard The King Petty & Dale The Intimidator Earnhardt.

0: 44 Oh, relax. It’s a funny joke!
Goodness gracious, were people seriously that sensitive in 2011
Also, did the Japanese people actually care about the jokes at the time That’s what I want to know. I want to know THEIR opinions, not the opinions of some advertising company.
Anyway, this is a good video, but his jokes weren’t as tasteless as they could have been. If you don’t like those types of jokes, don’t watch any 90s or 2000s stand up comedian or Ricky Gervais roasting Hollywood at the 2020 Golden Globes.

I was in Tokyo when the Tohoku Earthquake struck. It was only a 4. 0 that far south of the epicenter but it was the worst earthquake I had ever experienced. I had to run outside in my socks, and the asphalt road felt like walking in sand due to the shaking.
Also, sadly, Steve Jobs dying got so much media attention that very few noticed that one week later Dennis Richie, the developer of the C programming language, was found dead (his exact date of death is unknown.

2011 was such a sweet and awesome time in my life. It was such a good time I didn’t even realize that a lot of it happened in 2011 lol. I didn’t think about the date much. This was my 2nd half of college years, early 20’s, lots of time with friends and ladies.
Basically I was the age that most Gen Z are today, or the average we think of for Gen Z, and I’m glad i had my turn when the world was still a little normal

2011 the worst year of my life. I lost my mother to breast cancer in July. She was only 51 years old. 4 months earlier I lost my grandfather (my mother’s father) to pneumonia. One month before my grandfather’s death his sister died from throat cancer. 2 months before my mother died, her oldest 1st cousin died of leukemia. Yeah not a good year for me.

Watching Timeline made me realize how much the USA is a dump. So many mass shootings, tragedies & etc. And yet. Firearms are still legal, lobbying is legal. (The only developed country btw, still no health care. And muricans keep claiming it's the best country. Y'all are brainwashed so deep. USA is basically a cult. Can't wait for Civil War part 2.

Imagine questioning someone's citizenship just because they didn't spent their daddy's money to get celebrities to hang out with them, and they didn't call the National Enquirer to gossip about the many, many beautiful, young women they had been seen with. Then imagine supporting a conniving creep who actually DID do those things. Gross.

You know, I love these timelines, because I actually get to see the whole year of what I miss when I was deployed, so basically I got to see from 20: 01 to 20: 02 20: 03 to 20: 04 05 to 06 and a 1/2 20: 11 to 20: 12. I get to see all the stuff that like I missed out on what was happening. Good series

I remember this year more vividly than I thought I did. Probably because my twins were born in the summer of this year. I was 25 and now am 40. After the 90s the years ran together for me but when you break them down I can still remember them individually sometimes.

Funny in 2026 people are going mental that one Christa Pike didn’t pass away for smurding one along with two others, nobody upset they got away with their lives! Nobody upset serial kllers getting a life sentence without the penalty! Men get away with so much

When I think of 2012, the two main things that come to mind are the Mayan calendar thing and the guy who was high on bath salts and attacked the homeless guy. I specifically remember both of those events causing a massive fear of the end of the world.

You guys didn't mention the first world cup hosted in Africa in 2010, nor the one held in your own backyard in 1994, but found a slot to mention Ronaldo's meaningless100th goal. I get that most Americans don't care about soccer, but still.

2011 did have some crazy things happening, but it was pretty good for me. I moved out of my parents' house, I got hired at the decent job that I've been at ever since, MK9 came out and I signed my DNR order, because you never know.
