Fraud is a specific thing.
When it comes to people screwing with elections in nefarious ways there's a long, long, loooooong history of voter suppression in the US that even has constitutional amendment credibility.
Most of the current press to deal with voter fraud is just more of that voter suppression - the recent SCOTUS decision on voter ID is a clear example of voter suppression because it intentionally targets a demographic that tends to vote a specific way.
That we put a hat on poll taxes shouldn't fool anyone.

I dunno if you or anyone here ever has played diablo 2 but the sense of progression and exploring feels very similar to valheim in the sense that you enter a new region that you're not familiar with an all monsters and creatures are kind of scary and mysterious and then in Diablo 2 you acquire the waypoints and you feel like you own the land and become familiar with it maybe you establish a foothold you get stronger gear little by little and the place is familiar and you feel like you own the place now

0: 10 No, rioters stormed the Capitol because then-outgoing President Donald Trump wanted to cling to power and so rallied his armed supporters on-site and sent them in, clearly directing then to take violent action. False claims of voter fraud were just an excuse.
11: 15 Finally a mention of Donald Trump, conveniently after two ads have had time to play.
11: 30 Claims like this. Get off the fence, Crash Course.

Those traitors who attacked the Capital in a violewntr coup-attemp, new that Trump lost, but want a ChristFascist Nation under President for life Trump! In a just world, they & their Orange leader would be forced up against a fall & shot for treason.
As for in person voter-fraud, about 500 people since 2000. That is less than 1 in a million votes cast since 2000.

reply

Threatening voters was mentioned, but not expanded on. Understandable since there are a lot of potential definitions for it, most of which would ruin the numbers published by the accredited studies. However i would also like to point out that voter bribes also toes the line of fraud.
reply

Republicans and Trump are claiming there's voter fraud because it's what they want to do and we know that because they've attempted it. In other words, they're projecting. In my experience, any claim that gets made without evidence to back it up is always projection of some kind.
reply

Not a problem at all. What is an issue is voting machines bugging out during selection of candidates (Bexar County and multiple others for example. Be sure you get your ticket printed and double check your selections before leaving.
reply

Not only is voter fraud likely to get rejected instead of counted, it's also a felony. All that effort, to try to get an extra vote that's unlikely to change the outcome, only to run the risk of prosecution, fines, and jail time.
reply

Dumb people fall for dumb conspiracies that a 12-year-old can figure out. THIS is the real root of the issue in this country. Common sense in America is falling faster than trump's approval numbers.
reply

It's not a problem, extensive research has shown this, but the underlying complaint is a way to express dissatisfaction with an expanded franchise without sounding too overtly bigoted
reply

Media should stop the rampant speculation on election day and be barred from reporting on vote counts until all the ballots have actually been counted.
reply

crashcourse people, keep making election/government content plz!
As an adult I feel like this course is one of the most valuable in today’s world.

reply

I hope there's going to be an episode on the many many many forms of voter suppression, which is of course much more rampant than fraud
reply

Congrats to Brazil and Serbia for defeating fascism in their recent elections! Now it's up to Israel and USA to keep it going.
