Ill just leave this here based off his last comment about minesweeper. Its amazing how many people do not understand the simple rule of this game. Once you know it, its actually a challenge to play and win, not just luck.
the numbers you see are how many mines that tile is touching, including diagonal. if its a blank tile its not touching any mines.
Its that simple, enjoy. The way to win is process of elimination, if you see a tile that says 2, and there are 3 unchecked tiles touching it. you know 2 of them are mines, and 1 is not. you then check that with other numbers until you know which are mines and which are not. You can left click to change the cursor to several different markers. Use that to keep track.
Once the difficulty is up high enough you will eventually have to guess between 2 tiles and can loose that way, but before its that difficult you can easily win with pure simple logic.

My parents never bought me -entertainment-, just a PC, so I managed to obtain my own games, today I'm grateful about that knowledge during my childhood, not having that -fear- to PC that console users usually have, in addition, I've played the most awesome games with mods and recently I've noticed that I'm from a Master Race! Can't be better! :)

Funnily enough, I adore Myst so much that I was able to see the parallels between its rocket ship puzzle and one of my classes on management science. I submitted my idea to the professor (giving full credit to the creators of course) and my college adopted it as part of the curriculum!

You can almost play any console games from any pc. However, I don't feel the fun playing console games from a pc because its not the same when playing in the tv.
