400 years later this essential text of Western Civilisation is an expansion of Plato's analogy of the Cave
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. -
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. -
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. -
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

The 3 tailed cat argument is flawed because it refers to two different kinds of -no cat-.
I can prove it by simply changing the words that make up the argument, without changing the argument itself.
1: There exist no cats who have 2 tails.
2: Every cat has one more tail than a non-existing cat.
Therefore, every cat has 3 tails.
In this way, the argument is clearly false, even though the premises are true. If anything, this demonstrates the limitations of language. It's not a limitation in logic.

to be honest I find it somewhat strange how the whole crash course series barely ever touches upon meta-physics. Like, the most they ever go to cover something that could be foreign to -normal people- is Barkley's idealism, which is honestly all I can think of.
They made like 5 episodes on God and none of them even mention pantheism or panentheism? It honestly didn't seem like they did much to try and open up people toward metaphysical speculation/discussion.

I remember in highschool my teacher told the shadow reality story so poorly I absolutely hated it and was really disinterested in anything philosophy for years. Luckily this series helps me appreciate philosophy much more

Thanks guys. I wonder how it is best develop one's philosophical mind. We have exercises for math, but the best we have is interlocutors. So I guess everything is good
