Macaulay was a great child actor. His talents were overlooked as he became a young man- when the cute of a kid grows into the awkward of a teen- you don-t have the look everyone was chasing. His father should be deeply ashamed of the mental abuse he inflicted being so hard on his son expecting him to support the family. He was so wonderful in My Girl. His relationship with Michael Jackson was probably a gift far more valuable to Michael than any knew. He treated him like a person. Scary how people sort of lost interest in Mac after The good son.

Yes I grew up with Macaulay-s films during my childhood, save for The Good Son, despite being a big Macaulay fan I didn-t find out about it until I was in my teens, which was probably a good thing, despite it being released during my childhood and at the height of his popularity, I don-t even remember reading any articles about it, I wanted to be an actor like him for a while, thankfully for my sake my parents wouldn-t let me.

its sad that people took jacksons innocence and urge to help children especially famous children navigate a life the he himself had to live and understood children that were living unfortunate lives and took that genuine act and turned it into somthing evil for money. michael jackson was a wonderful human. i thnk jackson was a big reason culkin is as level headed as he is now

The story of Macaulay is the best example of -Money doesn't make you happy, it makes you more of who you are-. The money amplified his dad's greed for money and showed his disregard for a strong family bond. Instead of the money making the family happy, it made the family miserable.
