We finally pick a spot for our new home! trevor: How do you make an income. Unless I'm sorted financially, would I live in camper ( for a season out of the year. It's hard to live in the city or suburbs like this, being harassed by law, the public or weirdos. So semi country would have to be it. It's dangerous this way too. .. for say 6 months out of the year for me, otherwise regular living would have to it.

Heading to Vancouver Island tomorrow morning from PEI. Staying in Saanich with my son & family which should be great but we also have a trip planned for a couple of days to Tofino and Eucluelet. I think you are up that way. Beautiful country. Wish I could take you some of my wifes pickled beets, she makes the best! Enjoying your videos, thanks

i know is back hurting work. it hurts so much that you wanna stay in bed all day and can't turn over due to all that sourness pain on ur back and in all your muscles. If you wanna do it easier, you have to rent power tools, like a skid steer. But, it's big money. That's how hard it is to build a house. A lot of labor.

Ah. the innocence of any first time adventure. Time and experience will adjust your perspectives. Real life will modify your mindset. And that's okay! The only people who refuse to change their mindset are the people who refuse to accept their real lives. Keep it up, The only constant is change

good choice on the yurt location, its a no brainer to utilise ground already prepared for the footings, right lol good job guys I hope very is going well, hang in there Nicole things will get much better as the weather gets warmer and you get the yurt under way

Yurts are for nomadic life on open steppe terrain. Perhaps think more about treehouses near the ground for convenience, and zip lines. We have wonderfully strong materials these days which are utilized less than their potential such as dyneema and nylon.

Am I missing something? Why do y-all keep referring to the water along the forest as the -ocean? - Is that a slang term in the Pacific Northwest for any body of water? Or is the Pacific Ocean literately just beyond view? Serious question-

After watching all your Living off Grid videos, I think you made the best choice of where you built your Yurt. It would have taken so much longer to get it built and cost so much more. You did an amazing job.

Okay in all seriousness where did you get the coffee press and who manufactures it? My husband and I are not having the best of luck with finding the right one. Any information would be greatly appreciated. -
