Avoid This New Luxury Car Like the Plague Mai: Check engine light on my Golf only came on when there was problems that caused emission problems.
Spark plug misfires due to wet ignition wires, or oxygen sensor not functioning as it should. etc
Is it like that for all ignition lights on all cars? I think a mechanic friend told me a long time ago.

lol its not that complicated folks. I don't know why ppl overcomplicate it. No one needs to ASK anyone else if they should buy a vehicle or not. If buying a vehicle, insurance and gas is cheaper than other methods of transpo over time then YES maybe you should buy. Otherwise the only time ppl should buy vehicles is if they APPRECIATE. Most vehicles don't appreciate. In fact almost NONE do. I bought a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited IN 2017 for 44000. Its now worth 30 000. So I paid about 15 000 to own it for 3 years, which is 5000/year. I don't mind paying 15 000/every three years to own a vehicle. I'm planning to sell the Jeep fairly soon for 30 000+. So Jeeps are one type of vehicle that retain their value VERY WELL. Toyota TRD's very well. There are many that retain value well. If you wanna drive for free every year, just RENT your vehicle out through a service online for 100+/day. Mine rents for 100- 150/per day. So in one month I earn about 3000 just from renting to random ppl. Its COMPLETELYYYY Insured. So if one of the Renters fks it up, its covered. The companies can afford to insure so many ppl through this service because most ppl don't actually make any claims. Usually there's no problems. Every now and then someone fks up the interior/leather or whatever. Then insurance covers it. BUT YEAH - This is the way you can pretty much drive for free. Whatever days you don't need and or you know you aren't gonna use your vehicle just rent it out for 100. Do this 60 times in one year, that's 6000. I told you I paid 44 000 in 2017 for my 2017 Grand Cherokee Limited. I'm gonna sell it 32 000. So I'm losing 12 000. Buttttt if I rent it out 60days/per year. I actually don't lose anything, I drove and owned not only for free, but I actually made money. THAT is the way to do it and the way smart ppl do it! All you have to do is rent your vehicle out 60 days per year and then sell 3 years later while your vehicle still has value. You can buy another brand new vehicle and simply REPEAT the cycle and make money couple thousand doing it.

I got a used Ford Mondeo with a DCT. A really nice car with a lot of extras and lots of space. Unfortanately I had trouble with the know DCT shifting problems from the beginning. I was lucky and got connected to the chief mechanic from Getrag. He told me, that the problem would be the Eingangswellensensor (sorry for the german word. LOL. I went to my trusted Scotty like garage in Germany and they fixed the transmission for round about 1200 Euros. The sensor is in the middle of the chassis of the transmission and you have to tear the DCT out the get to that, but it's fixable. No problems since then! My research showed, that many people in the US have the same problems with the DCT, so maby a thought for you guys: -)

Hi Scotty, I have this toyota carina 1996 Diesal car, Only problem i am experiencing with it when in first gear it sometimes struggles to move first, the car shakes with the engine and i have to press the clucth and give more gas and slowly release the clutch again. It does not have this problem in all other gears. I think it is because engine does not have enough power at start. it is a 2c turbocharged engine.
I have a peugeot 505 car with toyota 3c diesel engine mounted which does not have this issue at all in first gear. Might be because 3c is more more powerfull than 2c. Can you guess what would be the issue with the carina?

in my opinion, buying new is really only a good option for these reasons 1. New cars have warranties and some other perks like free maintenance for X amount of years. This is nice if you re not car savvy or don t have the time, space, etc. to be working on your car 2. establishing credit 3. if used cars make you anxious. I bought new because i ve had bad used car experiences and I d like to buy a house one day and not have my credit be a factor in that. You don t have to buy a car to establish credit but it s a way to do it.

Depends what someone did with that car in the first 60K miles?
A toyota or Lexus probably still has half its value after 60K miles
Plus his 20 yr old Lexus would have bunch of age related issues
Notice he is always hiring rental cars on trips, won't take 20 or 25 yr old car on a 2000 mile trip
He knows better than that lol

Scotty, I have a 2018 F150 with the Coyote 5. 0 V8 and when I asked my dealer s service manager about switching it to full synthetic oil at 12000 miles and he told me that it would be bad for the 5. 0 engine and suggested that I stay with synthetic blend. Why would it be bad for my engine?

Scotty I have an 09 hybrid camry, the 12v AGM battery is the original that came with the car it s 12 years old and it still works, I figured I should replace it anyways but the dealer wants 439+. Is it worth replacing?
(Autozone said I can only find the battery at the dealer. )

Sorry I'm not buying ANY car from China. They make garbage I don't know why you push their crap sometimes. You even admit in past videos tools and products you've bought are crap from them. It's Japanese or Korean for me if I get an electric.
