Electric cars will never be popular until they can get the recharge time down to about the same as filling the tank with gasoline, or at least something reasonable, a half hour tops. They are fine for city driving where you don't rack up a lot of mileage, go to work, come home, plug it in. I don't get why electric cars don't have solar voltaic panels in the roof and such. They could do a minimal recharge while they're sitting in the parking lot at work, probably as much as was used to get to work depending on that distance. Another thing that has to happen is charging stations will have to be as common as gas stations. The electric cars can go cross country, but your route and time taken are dependent on where charging stations are.

Yes, physics play into surviving crashes. Not only size but center of gravity. My uncle was tapped in the rear by an Explorer, fishtailed spun out into the freeway median. The Explorer also lost control and ended up on its roof. My cousin in his subcompact Toyota spun out in the rain and hit a van and SUV. Brother wasn't injured, the other two were. SUV careened off the freeway and down a ditch.
So small cars may not fare well in head on collisions but seem less likely to flip over in accidents between cars going the same direction (the more likely scenario since roads with traffic in opposite directions tend to be separated by a physical barrier at least where I live.

I've already seen several videos about CVT transmissions including your videos! but I would like you to talk more specifically about my car! I just bought a 2018 Corolla 1. 8 with CVT! just to go to work, nothing to go fast or crazy things! What do you recommend me? I sell it when I have 100 thousand miles? or do I keep it? What do you think about Toyota CVTs in more detail? do you think they will become as durable as the corollas and their gearboxes of the past generation? Thanks Gabriel Rios from Arkansas

Dude, Scotty, we were on Deployment over in California (from Yuma, AZ, for work, and one of our guys drove over his own Toyota Tacoma P/up, while we were at work, someone came over to the hotel, and REMOVED (STOLE): His entire pipe from just north of the cat, to the end of the pipe. can you believe it? I couldn't, never heard anything so crazy.

I seen two Z51 4 125k. and if you gonna race or drag race u gotta put oil in the dct transmission. 2qts and its a pain. make sure u unscrew the yellow bolt to put it in. otherwise you unscrew the wrong bolt, u HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE TRANSMISSION. BE CAREFUL

Hah noone would spend 7800 in england for a electric conversion, you can buy 4 toyota corolla with 60k miles less than 15 years old for that money there, maybe someone who blown it's engine in a land Rover or something expensive would do the conversion.

I'm not surprised. I'm not a GM fan either, but they've really been paying attention to supercar trends for the last few years. What GM has effectively done is evolve the definition of American Muscle and brought it up to current technology.
