It's not even about money. You want to step ladder mod your car because you want to know the effect of your mod. Throwing everything at your car has a great chance to get you into trouble. Be it dangerous or just a hair pulling experience trying to figure out what went wrong. It gets even worse the more you've had the car in an un-modded state, because you're used to one thing, you suddenly change a slew of things and end up with a different car.
Do things one at a time, give yourself, give the car time to put 1 and 1 together. Like with shocks and springs for example, you can't possibly say it's the right set up until the car has settled, that can take up to two days depending on what kind of setup you're working with (not talking about ride height.

Loving the content guys. Keep it coming. But i think it's time to go back to your roots and build a real Nugget that the less cashed up can get their hands on and play around with.
Now that you guys have become successful, you're creeping up towards the those that have money brigade, and losing your roots.

Okay I get 180 hp vs 180 hp. What is the drag coefficient difference from car to car? What is the weight difference between the 2 cars? See it's a slippery slope when one decides to get technical. How technical is one going to get?

Since it will be high compression, just curious?

Just wanted to say that I appreciate you guys uploading in so many different formats. I'm on a tiny island with crap net, and the high def struggle is real. Having an option other than either 360p or 2160kHD! is again, very much appreciated.

You COULD turn off the belt chime. Key in, fasten and unfasten 20 times in 30 seconds from the key on will turn the belt alert off. At least in the US, but I can't imagine that would be different for different regions. Useful but of info

do all the same work to the sti to make it a fair race and see what one comes out on top. plus it would also be cool to compare the gains of power and toque and compare them to the gains with the brz.

Sorry, this is a bit newbie question: in australia, if I get my car turbo charged, which insurance company will cover modified cars? I am with Allianz at the moment, they will not cover: (

Dyno slips and strap breaks are a thing, probably not on a 180kw car, but putting on the seatbelt is zero cost insurance so shut the beep up and put on the belt anyway.
