Maybe you have not found that torque steer is a problem on your car, because of the equal length driveshafts and the LSD in the gearbox?
Now for the tough love! I am a grumpy 70 year old whingeing pom petrolhead, and because of this I have noticed some possible assembly issues in this particular video - SORRY.
1. Around 8-05, you are undoing the nut on the top ball joint on the upright in order to fit the driveshaft assembly. Am I right to say that this nut is an ordinary nut when it should ideally be a NYLOC nut for safety, plus best to use a split washer for good measure? If it is an ordinary nut without a split washer, it is probably unsafe.
2. Around 8-25, you are assembling the driveshaft components, but all of the splines look dry and have no globs of grease on any of the splines that I could see. Did you not put a liberal finger of grease on the splines before final assembly? The video possibly says No.
3. Around 8-50 when you are refitting the upper ball joint nut (ordinary) after fitting the driveshaft assembly, I noticed that the new rubber upper balljoint boot was torn. Had you noticed that? If water gets in, it can ruin the ball joint in no time flat which is potentially dangerous. Especially with all that delicious new VTEC power when going round a tight and fast corner in winter!
4. Around 12-20 you are correctly wiping a finger of oil on the new oil filter poly washer before screwing it onto the engine, but you did not pre-fill the filter with fresh oil before doing so. We are told that pre-filling the filter is a good idea because it helps to speed up oil circulation on that first vital second after the engine fires because the filter itself is already full. This is only possible of course on filters that screw onto the engine the right way up. For example, Porsche 944's and Ferrari 412's are literally upside down - would be very messy!
As you can guess, these comments are said with love and are not meant to be critical in any way. Just a bit worried about the safety.

Is this car going to be driven on the road or strictly a track car? I've been seeing some videos lately of Australia police pulling over modified cars. I had no idea they were so strict over there. pulled a guy over and the cop said his lisence did not permit him to drive turbo cars or manual transmission cars. pretty wild, that would never fly here in Canada, half our police couldn't tell a transmission from a turbo. My question is, will the law allow this car on your roads considering the modifications? Not sure what your saftey inspection laws are like but from what I'm seeing they're pretty strict over there about modified cars. Care to enlighten me on the subject? lol

im going to solve the which side of the road is correct debate once and for all. Originally italian race cars had the wheel on the right and for good reason. The majority of people are right handed. Every other aspect of left or right is identical and makes zero difference just depends which roads your country connects to. Hence plenty of islands stick with right hand drive. A right handed person has their strongest most precise hand / arm on the wheel at all times. This is an advantage. All other things being equal, having the wheel on the right is the BEST side.

HEY funny guys. I like your builds. and your humor, BUT. small ROOKIE mistake, if you put 75-90 gear oil in a HONDA trans. you just DESTROYED IT! IT takes regular engine oil. I cant believe CASTOR OIL your sponsor didnt catch this. IVE seen gear oil destroyed trans many times. its a fact jack!

The Honda vtec is a great engine. But a Ford RS engine would have been more appropriate for a British car. But you guys I guess dont care very much about national automotive pride. because Australia doesnt have a car industry besides the Holden which is sort of Australian.

For fun, and to show everyone how truly awful gearing linkage can be, ya'll should work on a three speed column shifter. Three on the tree is a great way to learn how to drive manual. Also, working on that linkage is a great way to really appreciate floor shifters.

i remember back in the day around 2007 an au series 2 tickford xr6 (fastest au iv seen still to date and the cleanest) getting floged in a straight line by a mini supercharged. the guy was chasing him for throwing a chip out the window! light weight
