the reason why spit works in scuba masks is because you a) spit into the mask when they're still dry and not yet fogged up, and b) you only rinse out the excess (without doing any wiping with the fingers anymore. what happens is that spit is actually acting as a surfactant which breaks the surface tension so the water-droplets can't stick to the glass/plastic anymore. once you clean it with a towel, like it has been done here, then that's gone and can't help anymore. so if you use spit, make sure it's NOT wiped away and evenly spread across the whole windscreen: P

I like the interior of the car that you're filming in
Could you tell me which car was it?
Edit: I got it
It's a '95 Ford Windstar
Went searching for your old vids and found a video where you mentioned the name
That interior design looks quite good for that time and that to in such a kind of car

Hi Chirs,
Thanks for making these valuable videos. .
I did try the toothpaste method on my car windscreen to over come the fogging during rainy day drives. Cuz these days my A/C not working. But the toothpaste method didn't work well.
Do you have another alternatives for this?
Thanks.

The problem I've had with the Rainex Anti Fog is that a day or two after I apply it my windshield is all smeared up with a film and I can't see in the morning and evening sun. I won't use it anymore.
Regular Rainex on the outside works great.

I used shaving cream today on my glass as suggested in your last video and i should say it did not work at all. It was so difficult to see that i nearly had an accident. Please don't suggest rubbish methods that could risk someone's life

I tried the toothpaste and sure, it reduced the fogging but it also reduced the visibility. I used one tube per window. It smells fresh and minty. And the best part it, I can brush my teeth while Im out driving!

Ive tried this shaving foam I used Gillette, I started on my rear window then did the 2 rear side windows and by the time Id finished my rear window was steamed up, how is this possible
reply

Ya that's a perfect idea! Let's rub an onion all over my windows and make the inside of my car smells like a onion/dirty sock/ass/hot garbage juice.

Okay so shaving cream and toothpaste are the best home remedies against inside window fog.
Is it also okay on window tint film?
