Is there a way to tell if a chip has been repaired already? I got a used car, and there's a spot on the windshield that I can't tell if it's a small chip or a slightly larger, already repaired chip. It's not problematic, but a cracked windshield would be.
Then again, it was in storage for a while, so I suppose an unrepaired chip would probably have gotten bigger by now.

This method sucks. The other one with the syringe is way better as it sucks out the traped air before you apply epoxy with pressure, this method doesn't do that and has traped the air in the bulls eye, the air has to go somewhere but it can't as your pushing the epoxy into the same corner that the air is in causing a air locks that is visible when finished.

i actually have the same chip on my windshield because couple day ago i saw something like a rock hit my windshield on passenger side and today i saw the chip look just like this one. you can see the circular crack but it is crack inside the windshield. it is a wonder how a chip can be in this shape and form. thank for the video

Thank you ChrisFix, you totally saved my life when I cracked windshield of mom's car. But be careful people because there are a lot scam products that don't work as expected. The only that worked was kanelo's. Just write on google kanelo repair fluid and thats it. believe me it rly works

couple of questions. I did it just now, but there is still a dark spot (air bubble) that doesn't go away even after curing, will it just stay the same way or will it get worse? should i scrape off the resin and do it over again?

A great way to get your chipped windscreen sorted is. park outside a house with kids playing in the garden. wait for the ball to come over the fence, then simply knock on the door and tell the parents to cough up for the damage

I hit the rearview mirror and it broke chipping off some glass From the windshield creating a small dip. Used multiple types of glue over the course of one year and each 1 of them came off. What do you think I should do

don't expect it to be perfect. what it should do is prevent 'Blooming' of the laminate, stop the discolouration and keep dirt etc out of the damaged area, if you want 'new again' then you need a new glass.

1: 58 PLEASE everyone pays attention to what Chirs says here. You can make the crack really BIG and ugly, should you apply excess pressure on the glass. So apply extra care at this point.

Thx for video! I bought a Camaro about 6 months ago and ended up getting a small chip right in driver's pov. Absolutely drives me crazy while driving. Trying this later.
