I've had this situation on a jaguar x308 (XJ8. It would stall and then wouldn't turn over until you tapped the EMS fuse box. With Key on, engine off, you could hear various noises in the fuse box. Changed the relay, no joy. Changed the fuse box. Seems to have solved it!

They have made cars needlessly complicated today. It's ridiculous. When you cook a turkey and it's done, the little button pops up. Why don't they make components that pop if they're damaged to indicate They need to be checked, reset, or replaced?

N E W Never ever works. LOL Never assume your spare is good. I was burned more than once working on larger computer systems putting in a part that had the same failure.

How do you claim to be a reputable shop and have to call someone that knows wgat tgey are doing to fix your stuff aside from like dealership programming

Finding the break makes the most sense. There's a good chance that other wires in that area are broken or will be soon.

You da man. Granted theres a lot of your investment in the test equipment you have and the the update subscriptions. Diys cant obtain those.
