I'm so glad that I found your videos on YouTube and I'm thankful that you have shared your knowledge.
I have a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, bought it two years ago from a small dealership. The vehicle only had one previous owner which actually was really a rental car company.
My issue right now is that I FEEL the rear A/C does not blow as hard as I THINK it can. The front A/C works fine and blows cold and hard, but I feel horrible that my children are always sweating when they're sitting in the middle and third rows. Also, I do live in AZ so the A/C is no match for the 110 degree temps, but I still think it could be better. Should I just do a complete rear A/C replacement? Also, is there a second compressor for the rear A/C?

Automotive AC is so easy, yet they charge criminal money for this simple shite! .most of it being all the garbage that must be taken apart to get to it.
Request that manufacturers make these things modular - 4 screws. out!
The compressor should be equipped with valves that let it retrieve all the gas/oil to a sealed canister with a pressure gauge attachment on it and valves to load the system with air/pressure to test integrity(leaks.
whateVA! they build everything to break to keep you in the repair centers cycle!

Pure entertainment and a learning experience to watch this Professional work on vehicles. Sherlock ( Mechanic of Auto. Thank You Sir. I have yet to watch ANY video that I did not like. The only one who could ever give this man a bad review would be the one who could not repair the vehicle that was Hooked or pushed to his garage. This is NOT my own opinion it is what I witnessed from these wonderful videos. Thanks Eric and Family whom I hope do not loose to much time entertaining all of US.

If u r one of the unlucky ones that has a Chrysler or dodge mini van when u end up having to replace things in a every other day thing when u get the last one fixed run don't walk get it to a dealer an unload it I have just about as much in parts an labor as I pd for the car to begin with I would recommend stay clear of these vans every one I know have problems non stop an mine is a 2016 with 60. 000 on it

This one helped me do a company grand caravan and soon to do my own. Thank You. Missed the part where you said you had to smash on the stud. I did take a real small drill bit and drilled the corrosion around the stud on the line connection, used some panther pee then left it for a bit. Thanks again

Wow, I can't believe how easy your TEV separated from the two lines! I'm doing them right now and they're absolutely siezed on the through bolt. Ontario roads are a killer on aluminium parts. I've had to chop the lines back and find an aftermarket compression fitting/line kit.

I was about to replace a rear expansion valve on a customer's T&C but thought maybe I should see exactly what the other guys were doing (I'm a Toyota guy, mopar products are not my specialty. Glad I found this video! Great job and thank you. Might've saved my butt.

I wonder if it would be worth adding some kind of debri shield behind the tire to stop stones and what not from impacting the expansion valve? I drive a lot of dirt roads and mine failed last year on a 2011 grand caravan. I am just now getting around to fix it.

Turns out that my rear heater core is ok. The AC compressor oil is green very similar to antifreeze and it was leaking out the rear block Should have done the smell test. Also I put rear heater core in a bucket and drove 70 miles, with nobdtectable leaksge
