Lovely approriate for a woodsman tribute(sorry if that is the wriong terminology) I guess survival means different things to diferent people. Are we talinking day of the dead, 28 days later or 80s WW3/4 Just curious can you help with DoFe choses
I have looked up you Expensive First aid and MRE's but compare to a 1/2 night stay just not good value. What is a good value cover the basics MRE/Cooking/tent/sleepiing.
I recommend you would be an expert and could give great advice on the Duke of Edinbourgh for basic camping but potential survival kit. I agree that a kit should consider the situation and the environment. So water I was taught to ignore water purification in certain situations. Maybe review basics for DofE which must be functional, but unlikely to ever be used for real. Also might upset the bigboys who profit from this like blacks who sell festival stuff onto un suspecting DofE. They litterally go bankrupt based on glastonbury survival whish is different from DofE, Welsh/Scotish/Winter etc. survival.
Maybe consider the princess trust.
Well done thank you for pushing through grief, and makes you himan and not YT AI LOL.

For the last 20 years I've been interested in survival gear, outdoor gear, EDC, etc. I have, more and more over time, come to hate how often I see a bottle opener on some tool or multitool. I think it's lazy, everyone has already done it, but how many people actually use a bottle opener, especially with most bottles these days being twist tops. Now, I'm not saying it's completely useless, but it's so niche these days with how many people actually use them, that I really think tool manufacturers need to stop putting them on every tool. I would rather have something else. More saw length (such as with that spork knife combo, or a spoke wrench, or a gut hook, or something else. Anything else.

I'm one who lets grief be processed privately. You are doing a fine job. As for this type of video: you have found a fine kit; one meant to be bulked out with water and food. I was AMAZED by the multi-tool and the small pick and shovel components. I would not build a shelter with them, but they seem to have served for latrine duty. I can make a 'Lakota' fire pit with the tool. The price of this kit is mid-range; however, I believe it is more useful than the other kits you have reviewed that cost more.

Im telling you all now that you had better be taking this seriously because the world chaos is LITERALLY almost here and it is going to be more diabolically biblically profound than what anyone could ever possibly fathom and no, the coming new world with a new order is NOT for a good reason. It is going to be ran by super artificial intelligence enslaving humanity beyond anything humanity could ever possibly fathom. The beast system is going to be a literal hell on earth, so take these prepping skills seriously.

Sorry to hear the news about your uncle. The cross was very touching.
The bag looked good considering it is a wish buy. I would of expected less than what was in for the price.
Mind I'm more impressed with the gel burner your using, I'm considering getting one for my camps. Thank you for sharing and carrying on with this one. I don't think anyone would of held it against you if you baled on this one.

I think the bottle opener is for when you have to forage after the apocalypse and discover some barely drinkable beer. I have different priorities. My survival necklace has twoUS K-ration P-38 can openers, which are good for opening expired cans of food or for ripping open packaging. I have used mine to prep kindling, to dig out a splinter, and clean under my nails. These activities are not recommended.

Well if I was stranded in the wilderness it was most likely cuz I got lost camping, and if I’m camping I have beer. And if I’m in a survival situation where I might die, that bottle opener is a god send. Although I can open a bottle with pretty much anything, done it with my teeth once and luckily didn’t chip a tooth. Wouldn’t do that unless it was a truly dire situation

Thank you, Mike. We've been enjoying this series very much! We'll be praying for you and your family as you go through this time of grief. We're glad that you took the time to make that memorial for your Uncle. No need to explain. You just follow your heart. Our family members are precious. They are a part of who we are.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Mam suddenly in October last year and that really shook me up badly. Take time to process the loss. This mothers day I bought some primroses and planted them with my wife and son round a Rowan tree she'd given us for our garden. Stay strong and it takes time to process

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my dad recently and my mum three and a half years ago. Hope your family and you are helping each other through this difficult time and helping you reflect on fonder memories. Thanks as always for the video. I thought that was a really nice tribute you made.

Lidl sometimes sells a surprisingly good car first aid kit. It's not as good a the one you showed last week, but not many kits could be.
Anyway, I always pick one or two up when I see them and give them to friends as they are simple, yet comprehensive for the price.

I just heard about your uncle. So sorry Mike to hear about him. I missed the memorial tribute him because of doctors for me and my cancer. He is in a better place and free of pain. You still have yours and his memories. I’ll pray for you and him in the one above.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my Mum last year, very unexpectedly. Any loss is hard, sincere best wishes. I haven’t processed my loss, I think you did something positive to start processing your loss with the cross.
Thank you for the content. Best wishes.

My heart feels for you- female bushcraft and other hobbies watching quietly from the sidelines, since probably year one. I bowed my head in memory that your uncle finds peace and rest and rest from the restrains and pain he had in this world. Melanie

For a short term survival (less than 3 days) food is just not a priority. A lack of shelter in poor weather will kill you very fast (hours, and a lack of drinkable water will kill you in a couple of days. Worst case scenario, you can go weeks without food.

Even when the end of life is expected, the grieving process remains the same. Be gentle with yourself as you go through it. Thank you for sharing those moments with us. The memorial is just lovely. What better place than at the waters edge

The multitool could be used for minor surgery and fishing kit for suturing wounds The iodine wipes is a good addition. I wouldn't attempt any amputations although the wire saw could help there (in competent hands)
GNU uncle TA Outdoors.

I think if you’re going to depend on jute twine fluff as tinder, it’s probably best to prepare some in advance rather than trying to make it when you need it: )
But thanks for the demo. Didn’t know Wish was still a thing!

Sorry for your loss,
the company you bought this from is making literally nothing,
the contents cost more than the price of the kit. for the price its pretty decent.
(As to the multi-tool. Baton with it, dont chop)
