Lived in Shanghai for 7 years but moved back to Los Angeles. Honestly Shanghai is pretty cool, but I experienced some bad racism there. And the people keep spitting on the ground. We spit a lot in USA, but man China is a different breed. USA isnt as strict with its rules on trash Id say, which is why China looks so clean in the city area.
Overall I liked Los Angeles more than Shanghai. But Shanghai is a beast
Shanghai is greatly placed. The main downtown district is placed on the Shanghai river. Which is what makes New York amazing. Sad thing is, Times Square(the mini colorful downtown) isnt near water. If it was, itd be comparable to Shanghai.
Los Angeles is very colorful when it wants to be, but its still not on the beach side.
