For an inaugural flight, nothing about this was bizarre and did you really have to put up the big titty sign cancelled And while I’m being possibly too critical as much as I always have a Greggs bacon roll on my return to the UK I am guessing that if I had pre-access to the first class lounge, I would’ve for gone this delicacy. I can understand the basic thinking behind your Global flight but your overall concept seems to be rather silly. You chose to fly first class while making a program that 99. 999% of first class passengers would never ever watch and never ever take the flight. I end on a grammatical note When you descend to any airport you will be almost definitely going down so to descend down is tautology. PS I apologise for any of my errors as I’m using Apple dictation and I really CBA to doublecheck. however, I did watch the whole program

Glasgow airport is a shadow of its former self which is a shame really. I fly from Scotland regularly and Glasgow should be my home hub. I feel like the company that owns it have prioritised what they want to reimagine Glasgow as and to show tourists luxury brands and fancy bars instead of actually what the people of Glasgow want. They removed the Greggs from airside for example a few years ago, but at least there is finally a Burger King again. I guess since we don't have a castle etc unlike Edinburgh that the investment return isn't as good. I find myself now choosing Edinburgh as my first choice even though its 40ish mins away by car. I hope the new upgrade plans over the next few years improves things and gets her back to her former glory.

If more crazy bilionaire offspring could get together and keep A380's and 747's in the air, I'll be here for it. I love them. My 10 year old Ford Expedition also has some wear on the fake leather and some interior pieces peeling apart, yet everyone is asleep and drooling on themselves within an hour on the road. I try not to if I'm driving. Apparently building and buying tons of new smaller crappier things with lithium bluetooth capability designed in weeks by AI implanted humanoids, is more efficient and cost effective than keeping big old reliable things operational. I've never actually seen that pan out at any scale, but what do I know. The days of the giants are nearing the end, I understand it, but I don't have to like it.

When someone does something that a lot of people would have liked to do but could not, there are always a bunch of nay-sayers to critisize and pull apart the whole experience. I don't know if this company will ever actually become a full fledged airline with their own operating licence; this might be the only flight they ever do! BUT they did it. And I say kudos to them. They had a dream and realized it. Let's not be one of the nay-sayers ok Noel. I have such respect and admiration for you and what you do. Thanks for being you.

If the crew can't serve meals on time and hot for 90 passengers how are they going to cope with 300 When you launch an airline you get your ducks lined up in a row and rehearse, rehearse and rehearse before unleashing your aircraft on new passengers. Clearly no-one bothered. The food was cold and late, or didn't appear. Who in their right mind would pay 2. 5 grand to have such poor service. This shower will not last a month. Oh, and the stick on plaster on the wings doesn't inspire confidence.

Dear Noel, would you consider creating a video about the alleged mismanagement of Glasgow Airport by the Scottish government To provide some context, it's been suggested this was done to divert tourism to Edinburgh following the SNP's rise to power in the devolved government. It's been argued that Glasgow Airport's success was organic, unlike Edinburgh's, which has been described as utilizing less substantial facilities.

Very fun video Noel!
I loved it! Can’t wait to see more info about Global and ironically now I really want to fly them someday! Also I saw Josh Cahill, Patrick Shea, Dan Woolhams & more on this video and your video too!
Cheers mate!

Also I tracked your flight on Global with all the other aviation content creators and I also found your United flight from EWR-IAH on the trackers too!

Correct me if I am wrong:
Isn't the market segment this company is aiming for the same one that would fly wanna fly the overture when it releases. Or the potential redesigned A380s that can land at more airports which Emirates wants to get.
Running old A380s will not be viable for long.
Or are they trying to go for budget luxury That could work actually. But then they should advertise it as such.

As much as we can tell this wasn't your greatest experiences, you were still so respectful with your review. I saw Josh's too and I felt like when he was talking to you he tried so hard to put words in your mouth. It's clear both of you didn't have the best experience but both your approaches were so different! Definitely Noel over Josh. Even my yr8 old son said Noel is a nicer person.

I think it makes sense to board Business after Economy, then First last. Does anyone like being in an airplane waiting while stationary Also, there have been various studies on efficient ways of boarding, but airlines are stubborn for change, and so are customers.
Edit: No one shaves with a corded shaver anymore That plug is not just for a phone charger.

Did you not manage to go into the Lomond Lounge It's a nice place to spend the time pre-flight. Also the airport's always busy peak times when everything's going out. Problem with lack of airlines is how many UK charter airlines do we have left these days Not many. I fly from Glasgow 2-4 times a year and the airport's always very busy.

this is what happens when a millennial who's spent 99% of his life on the internet tries to do something in the real world. good on them for taking it this far, but it'll inevitably crash and burn. it's a miracle this wasn't another fyre festival. they'll soon realise delivering on what they're promising is impossible.

How did you manage to get what looks like solo pre-flight access to the plane, the crew rest, the cockpit, etc Usually airlines don't let passengers see those. Is it just because it's the first (mostly empty) flight Or will they have more relaxed rules about moving around to all cabins than other airlines in the future too
reply

That’s weird when I was Qantas crew on the A380 (when they first came into service) our crew rest was a door in the middle of the craft near the galley or so with a ladder down into a crew rest within what would be the cargo hold area I believe. We had a crew rest at the back of the aircraft up a ladder in the 747.

Great stuff, Noel. I always applaud new airlines starting up but this looks so half baked at the moment. I guess it can win on price but not a lot else!
Thanks for taking us around and also showing us parts of the plane we’d never usually see!

reply

15: 50: I want a screen! I want to see the outside cameras. I've made requests so many times to be able to see the cockpit and have a cockpit camera and see what they are doing and I'd so much like to hear the radio they are tuned in. But I can't

All in all, I think they ll be ok, its in a unique niche. your early intro sounded a bit like a Monty Python sketch but they didnt have airline reviews back then, lol. Nice video with fair review as always, great work as always, Noel!
reply

I’m stunned they gave you access to the avionics bay, flight deck, and the ramp. Absolutely no offense to you, but there is zero chance I’d trust that airline for anything beyond flying livestock over unpopulated areas.
reply

for glasgow not being as busy most airlines swapped over to edinburgh over glasgow for flights which is a shame, i miss seeing American airlines for one but now living closer to edinburgh i see delta which i love more
reply

I hope it works out for them; right now the plane looks like something you’d get in mod-less GTA5 story mode but I guess the next thing to see is what they do with their income now some is starting to trickle in
