Not sure if I would pay 800 pounds for a business upgrade on such a short route, what was definitely worth it was Premium Economy upgrade for 150EUR on route Hanoi Moscow with Aeroflot, now that's value. I would also argue calling 800 pounds cheap.

Lufthansas Business Class isnt very nice but if you enjoyed the flight thats all that matters. Its really cool that you got to fly on an A340 though!

Lufthansa, the worst experience I have had in my flying life. Even small carriers are more consistent and have better customer service than L.
