Air Astana Review: Airbus A321neo Business Class - Kazakhstan's National Airline

Just one question, which hotel did you stay in that is close to Astana airport, Astana is quite a distance from the airport and I have not yet found a close airport type hotel. Appreciate if you can let me know.

My only ever flight in business class was on Air Astana (Delhi to Astana) on an A320 but it didn't have entertainment screens. We were given Ipads instead. If you want to try some other Kazakh airlines, try Bek Air. All of their fleet are Fokker 100's. I flew them from Shymkent - Aktau - Shymkent. The real quirky airline you can try is Zhezkazgan Air. They have some old planes in their fleet.

I've flown with Brussels Airlines, easyJet, Ryanair, and with Ethiopian Airlines. With Ethiopian I was onboard an B767-300ER and a B737-800 easyJet was a A319, Brussels Airlines was a Avro RJ100 and an A330-300, and Ryanair was on a B737-800. The Ethiopian Airlines one was really good, because their service is good and they give you a lot of food. Food quality is average tho in Economy.

One thing I've noticed is that agencies such as Skyscanner indicate the business class seats on the A321neo as lie-flat versions and from everything I'm seeing online I think they're only recliner seats. Does anyone know KC902 London to Bangkok via Almaty is it lie-flat or recliner in Business class please?

Hello from Kazakhstan) if you are looking for old Soviet planes to fly on in Kazakhstan, you cant actually book them online. You have to go to their office to buy a ticket. There is couple of flights operating regularly with An-2 and Yak-42 to some destinations

FIRST (THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEOS INFLIGHT VIDEO) and I also think you should of took etihad to auh then from auh to lhr on the a380 it's really good and I think you would have enjoyed it with plenty of meal service legroom comfort and no noise

I flew on Air Astana LHR-ALA-LHR on 757 back in 2006 and ALA-TSE-ALA on A320 - all flights in business class. They were excellent then, a much underrated airline that compares with some of the best. Kazakh's are friendly people too.

Wish you had shown a bit of the city. It is such a bizarre incredible place and well worth a look if you find yourself there. Also you could have taken a domestic Bek air flight on the now rare Fokker 100

I'm curious, the oldest, rarest and most interesting plane you've flown on? I was lucky enough to fly or fly on some old planes but that was part of my job, some museum pieces. Love your videos.

I've flown on Astana once before from Almaty, you didn't miss much in the lounge, nothing special but nothing particularly wrong with it, quite a comfortable airport lounge
