7: 30, Camo like those, just like ghuillie suits are made for you to add in natural objects from your environment in as well to properly camo you. They are effectively a net in which you put small branches, live and dead, dead plants and whatever is around the area where you'll be standing so that you can best build in. It is not actualy a camo in and of itself but rather a fundation on top of which you fabricate your camo. It's one of the first things you're thought on practical sniper training missions, it's not your hardware camouflage that will maintain your stealth, but your ability to construct a stealthy shooting position with that hardware to blend in the local stuff, which is also why you don't setup anywhere as some places are better suited for camouflage to blend in.

That camo style is similar to what we use for vehicles and tents here, not colors but the shape(obviosuly larger) but it would better camo it if you say tied it of on trees above the tent and then onto the ground similar to a tarp but since its not for water proofing you can angle it how you want and that also breaks the shapes up. could also add some jute and what not to it if you wanted to keep it packable still. just help it out. plus local foilage obviously. but on its own I think better concealment would be similar to a tarp setup close but over the tent

I have asked before but I didn’t see any response so here it is again if you basically know the pegs are going to be cheep why don’t you bring in after market heavier pegs I have seen the making of pegs but this would show us the different pegs on the market I personally carry some good aluminum and plastic and heavy metal mix or just one style and if I know it is going to be soft soil I carry heavy metals pegs mostly. I tend to put the original pegs in a box and store them and use them around the house for other projects. Thank you in advance. Dwayne Luna

I think you should've played Mr. Blue Sky from Electric Light Orchestra while you were talking about the single sunny day you'd had in the past. two months Two weeks Your dad will remember it if you don't lol
Another fine video. I'm glad the intrusive damp didn't interfere with your sleep. I do wish for your speedy recovery, though disks take time to heal. Your use of camo netting is really fairly effective. I must say I liked the leaves on tarp approach better, as it seemed to look more blended and natural.

So Mike, are you advocated for folks to trespass on private and public lands with this stealth camping series You are an owner of private lands yourself, just wondering how you would feel if you found stealth campers using your land Say, maybe, staying in the tree house you and your dad built for your kids Tell all of your viewers, please, that you would be 100% okay with that. That as an owner of private land you are 100% okay with opening your lands to the general public to use as however they see fit.

I've got 5 herniated discs in my neck and back, so I know where you're coming from. I've tried a few different tents looking for ease of deployment and weight. The three I use now are the River Country Products - Oregon USA, 1 & 2 man tents (both under 3 lbs and super easy to pitch, and the other by Onewind. The only things needed are 1-2 treking poles or a stick of proper height. Take care and take it easy. Great video

#1 liked! Why don't they integrate pillows on your blow up mattress Ps. I'm jealous of your stature you fit in everything, my 6'6 fits nothing! It might have been better off hanging that camo from a line in front of the tent to block the whole area, like curtins or a vertical screen. The wet mattress could have been from condensation between your hot body on the mattress and the tent floor

I gave 'Hello Fresh' a try. But it was all coming out of California and shipped to Florida. Many times the meat was bad once it got here. And a couple times, the meat never showed up! I did save their menu cards for later references if I wanted something different. They do have a great business plan, but it's the shipping companies the ruin it. So I quit their program.

Another interesting video, great stuff.
The cam nets we use in the Army are reversible. They are patches of camouflage material, attached to a net, which are green on one side and brown on the other. You put them on roughly 75%/25% green/brown for spring/summer, then in autumn/winter, you flip it, so it's 75/25 brown/green.

I felt for you laying on the ground with a herniated disc Thanks for powering through so we had an adventure! That was the most well delivered advertising bit without it even being an advertisement! Wow a tick in February can only mean a horrid bug season. Cheers my friend and hope the back gets better soon

I had a Mil-Tec Recon tent similar to that. I used it once then gave it to a charity shop. It barely accommodated my mat, I couldn't sit up in it and there wasn't enough room to get changed. It was like sleeping in a coffin.
I switched to using a bivi under a tarp. Way more room and no claustrophobia.

Have a late 90's Coleman similar to this tent. You can see the seam seal tape on ground sheat but it's porous as a linen sheet. I made a cheap dollar store ground sheet that works great.
And even this one, still pitchabal under a tarp!
Carry on Camper!

A herniated disc is 'not nice' That's a bit of an understatement Mike! Multiple women have told me it's more painful than childbirth!
E. T. A. Lonewolf 902 was saying one of his dogs was bitten by a tic and got Lyme disease in the snow in Canada this winter!

Would the camo cover on top of the rainproof layer cause it to leak where they touch I wouldn’t use the camo layer on such a cheap tent. Ticks are active whenever temp is above 5 C and especially if there is no snow on the ground.

Ticks come around when the weather is above freezing, they burrow into the ground and hibernate during the winter. I had to get a vaccine for one of the horrible diseases they carry, sadly there is none for Lymes disease.

A lot of solo survival vids mate, I assume you're a family man so can we see you incorporating that aspect
If I had to bug out I'd have my wife and twin 2 year old daughters. Not much stealth when they're with me

I would like you to show the size and the weight of each ingredient used. That would be fun wouldn't it. Btw you get special treatment package too. Without mould and critters which is being sent to people. ;)
