Vermont Travel Guide - The Green Mountain State Thank you very much for the great video. It was incredibly helpful for me in planning and executing my Vermont trip, which just ended today. I was reminded of many of the impressions from the video while I was on-site in the cities. Rutland, however, was not that quaint as I imagined it, but the other cities definitely were. I can also highly recommend taking a hike at Mt. Philo in Charlotte as well as Shelburne Farms and having a drink at The Inn at Shelburne Farms while watching the sunset. The trails are great! If you love The Sound of Music, take a History Tour at the von Trapp Family Lodge and walk up to the chapel afterwards, I really enjoyed it. Thank you for the great video!

awesome job of showcasing VT. I / we go there A LOT and you hit all the great places people should be on their lists of places to stop and visit, while in VT. If you get lucky enough to visit, make your Hotel reservations WAY IN ADVANCE if you are going anytime from the middle of September to the end of October. Between foliage and college Graduations and other events - it is REAL hard to find rooms as a Walk-in. This holds true for VT, NH and Maine at this time. Put this on your Bucket List, you'll be glad you did.

So many cool things hit on here. My favorite seafood in the state is shanty on the shore. Taylor park is really beautiful in st Albans. If you’re up for a real challenge, our smallest town in the state is victory(70 people) there’s a wildlife area that’s pretty much the only thing there, and If you like hiking, biking, or things of the sort, go through. It can get very muddy, but is very beautiful. Thank you so much for showing our great state!

As beautiful as Vermont is, it's the people who make it what it is. They are unbelievable, truly. I'm from N. Y and I have friends up there. The first few times I visited I was always trying to figure out their angle, what's the scam There wasn't one, they were actually that polite and humble. They actually care how you're doing, if you're hungry and they share everything. I couldn't pay for anything when I was there, many times.

I’ve lived on the NY/VT border my entire life. Our high school hosts students grades 7-12 from bordering VT towns that don’t have high schools. I live 2 miles from the border, do my shopping, doctor appointments ect in Vt. I worked there for 8 years, went to college there, various family members also live & work there. I’m just here to see if there’s something different I haven’t seen yet.

TampaAerialMedia i miss my home state. So gorgeous, we do love visitors but be careful on the roads during leaf peeping season and first winters fall as drivers are crazy and numerous. Lake Champlain Chocolates, Ben&Jerrys, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Sam Mazas Corn Maze, Cabot Creamery, Downtown Burlington, all were so fun. Stowe and the numerous skiing hills of Mad River Glen, and the others

Was delivered into this realm on Vermont soil. This vid is just a commercial facade. The timeline of my youth was fascinating the country side small farms everywhere now, not so. I see a country side of declining wealth. The political environment there is most disturbing. As on many rural settings. Why, nobody wants to pull back the veil of illusion.

One place that should be considered to visit in Vermont is a town called Peacham. Peach am is known as the most photographed town in all of New England and located in what is known as the Connecticut River Valley. There are places in Peacham while looking east over hills and mountains you can see the White Mounrain range in New Hampshire.

I taught at Middlebury College for 15 years and spent much of my free time driving around the state. I even thought of joining the 251 Club, of people who have visited all towns there. I not only love what you show in this video, I agree with many of the people who have commented on it. Lots of memories!

If there are good job oppertunities as a nurse, then i would love to move to Vermont. Because the thing that scares people away from vermont is mainly job oppertunities and lack of businesses.
But everything else is really good for me and i know i'll be content.

Yeah, you didn't cover Brattleboro in the south eastern part of the state. Nice little town that borders New Hampshire which is on the other side of the river. Has nice little unique restaurants and coffee shops. Also a nice food coop like almost every other Vermont town.

What's good about it Cold dreary boring nothing to do I haven't done a thousand times before I live 55 miles south of the border of Vermont now Punta Gorda on the other hand has so many things to do it's pure happiness.

A very white state. I’m thinking DeSantis should start shipping illegals there. They need a lot more black people too. Come on, Vermonters, diversity is your strength!

watch Backlash: Mysogyny in the Digital Age. Vermont seems to have a lot of bystanders that will put up with anything. Silence will not protect you.

Enjoyed the adventure in your video. I'm seriously contemplating moving to the state. I'm seeking a safe place to be myself and enjoy nature.

12: 05 I doubt anyone regularly commutes on the Vermonter. It's only one train a day in each direction, and is frequently late.

I am proud to have gone to UVM. I even graduated with Ben & Jerry, who got honorary degrees at my graduation.

I used to love Vermont and went there often. what I cant get past is the politics people have come to embrace there. Not for me.

vaderi300 Wow Vermont is so quiet and peaceful, maybe it's because there aren't a lot of Tyrones and Shaniquas around.
