Naples & Marco Island - The Paradise Coast Love Naples, spent 6 years living there full time. In northern AZ now, but still technically considered a resident of Florida and Naples with the DL and license plate haha. Constantly being around mostly old people started wearing me down, obviously the winter’s are great but the summer’s are actually quite cloudy, which coupled with the extreme humidity makes for less then ideal weather for half the year. Of course those tropical thunderstorms are amazing and beautiful to smell and watch. Definitely a nice place overall but I see why so many people don’t spent their entire year there.

I grew up in Naples. Lived right across from cambier Park when I was a kid. Thats my hood. But the neighborhood i grew up in doesn't exist anymore. When I was a kid a single mother could live a block from the beach on a servers pay. Sad what happened to my beach town home. When I was a kid I would ride down fith Avenue at sunset and it was dark! 5th closed at 5pm. All us kids hung on 13th ave south beach sitting on sailboats and surfing. In our 20s we all worked at the bars and restaurants and every night was a party. God I miss Naples.

My family really struggled to find the public parking area for the beach in Naples when we vacationed there last year.
There was mostly private property entrances that were owned by the rental mansions. We almost gave up before chancing upon it after a lot of wandering.
The residential area was beautiful so it was an enjoyable detour: )
The city should really post more signs on where to find the public parking, but maybe it’s a local secret

I lived in Naples. bought a small condo there last year that needed renovation. bought it for $140k. sold it 2 months later for $215, 000 haha
Was constantly on Marco island. Naples is ok. its probably the nicest town in Florida. That whole area is the nicest in Florida. Estero / Bonita Springs / Naples / Marco Island.
Too many rich people though. you'll feel poor constantly. $100 million dollar houses on the beach

I went there over this last Christmas break. Ate at a restaurant on the water on Marco Island, Snooks Inn (or something like that. Stayed in Naples and went to tin city. I will say, Naples and Marco Island are the nicest places I've been to. (Not saying much since I haven't traveled a lot in my life yet. But even based on everywhere else I've seen, this area is really nice!

You forgot to tell them about 1/2 off meals on 5th everyday before 8pm and all the beach residents dont mind at all if you park on their lawns if your going to the beach. Houses on the beach are cool with you to take a shower on the pool deck since their up north 345 days a year. Really friendly place. Love to visit it

Florida is great my only regret is buying a home with an HOA it is similar to buying a manufactured home with lot rent ridiculous rules fees always go up expect to pay 200 to 600 per month not the low initial get the sucker rates and they can foreclose for non payment of the fee or fines

You don't make that much money please don't come here all these Super Rich assholes has pushed all the hard-working people more inland keeps pushing them further if your idea affordable housing is over $1, 000 a month you will be judged by your car and your bank account

Been here all my life and yes it’s a beautiful place but if you want to visit do it in the summer. The winter time is just packed full of old retirees from up north. Traffic is bad and good luck getting into a restaurant.

Grew up on the Northern side of Marco right next to Tigertail Beach. My memories as a kid with the family out on the boat are epic. If you live in Florida to have a boat is the key to paradise!

Naples is the best place in Florida, I just hope the hoards of new residents don't ruin it like the rest of Florida. Stay strong Naples, retain proper zoning so you don't become Miami Beach!

GREAT video tour of my two favorite Florida cities. I came to Marco Island on vacation in 1999 and bought a house that week. Sold my house up north and have been here ever since. LOVE it.

Surprised you didn't mention Sand Dollar Shelling. By far the best experience on Marco. we've done it 5 times and love it. best shells and dolphin adventure on Marco and Naples

I would be totally paranoid walking alone anywhere near those marshes or bushy paths. I can't have my demise be to an alligator.

Really great!
Why the kiddie music
Seems really cheapening and disproportionate in contrast to the content.

We need more videos about individual places with what to do and prices to make it easier to plan ahead.
