Why Did Baby Cali Hit Mickey Mouse on the Nose at Walt Disney World? batsonelec: as a teen I used to go to Florida College every year for camp. At around 15 I became a Counselor helper and then the next year, a counselor. At age 15 we had the chance to just go do our own thing for 2 or 3 hours in between helping with the younger kids, ( we got in free and got paid a little if we helped ) and it rained and we all got wet( did not rain any other year we were there ) We stayed there until after midnight when the fireworks go off and the bus ride home was brutal. My feet were so wrinkled from my wet shoes, that they hurt for many hours after. ( most of the adults got under cover and stayed dry ) Since many of your crew were in flip flops hopefully you guys didn't have that problem. I have not been to Disney since I was 16 and I miss it, but not really a fan of Florida. In my 50's now and seeing all the joy on your kids face ( and sometimes fear ) brought me back to the 80's when I visited every year for 4 straight years. ( Disney was always part of the Camp itinerary every year )

I'm crazy happy you guys are making videos again! This video, hands down is in my top 5 for sure. I've watched you guys for years & the old clips brought back so many sweet memories. It was fun seeing Dorothy & Manilla so little. Garett, you were right when you mentioned it was a bit weird seeing videos without Cali. The Gee family is most definitely complete with little love Cali.
I don't know how you do it but you always seem to add the perfect song with what's going on in the video clips. The music most certainly gets me a bit choked up every time. Sometimes, I mute the music (to see if I get the same vibe) but it just doesn't give the moment proper justice.
Thanks for sharing.

I just love your family and the adventures you have I can only dream of. I especially love the whale and shark adventures. When people ask me if I would ever do that, I laugh and say only with Garret and Jessica. they got me safe!
Edit; oh my goodness! How could I forget the sea lions, I LOVE them. When I was 20 I was blessed enough to work 4 doors up from a sizable Carnegie Library. I was the nerd with a stack of books about marine life! All of these years later, I m still fascinated! I did get to go dolphin watching in Virginia. It was such a thrill. I can t even imagine swimming with them!

I just want to say that I love your family and really respect your parenting style. You are amazing people. But, scaring a 4 year old with Star War stuff is very strange to me, he is so young. You guys are such amazing parents but this. I didn't get. Children that young shouldn't even watch Star War movies in my opinion. And he didn't seem to enjoy the slide either, even after going down so many times. can I ask why you insist? And I'm sorry but isn't it super dangerous to be outside when there is thunder and lightning?

They are so blessed. Thanks for blessing us with living through u. Praying to get back to WDW soon!

i know money isnt everything but can definatelly help make experiences come true. our mega millions lottery is 790 million & my husband asked what i would want to do if we won & i said enjoy life like your family. the generosity too. a simple gesture like giving out the balloons is rewarding for the giver & the receiver. brings tears to my eyes that you made someones day. so happy for you guys that your life turned out the way it did. it truly is beautiful to watch

Please be wary of thunderstorms. Florida and the rest of the southeast has intense lightning and it is often flashing at ground level. Please, for the sake of the kids, wait for the thunder and lightning to pass before running in the rain. Rain is great, being hit by lightning is not. Most storms in Florida are 'pop up storms which come up quickly and go away quickly. Sometimes as little as fifteen minutes. :-)

Absolutely loved the video! Brought back so many memories of going to Disney with my family when I was a kid. The joy and excitement on all of your faces kept me smiling and laughing throughout the whole video. And the flashbacks are really cool to see mixed in.

This makes me want to go back to Disney with my kids. Last time we went, in 2009, they were 3 and 6. At 16 and 19, it would be a great family moment to share with them now that they are older, and before they go on to live their adult lives.

What an awesome time. Poor Mickey, Cali got his high 5's and nose kisses mixed up. Manilla always looks so serious, but usually chooses the craziest schemes. As always seeing the kids giving away the balloons is lovely.
