Sign up to the newsletter: If you need help building muscle, these are my favorite programs: THE STRENGTH HYPERTROPHY PROGRAM GARAGE Strength Hypertrophy HYBRID Hell Week Program What people fail to realize is that bloodwork is a snapshot in time, your genome is just a matter of time It is important to note however, that even though it’s been researched for years The question becomes, can we take this disgusting amount of data and turn it into a few actionable interventions that will improve the quality of your life The problem is we've been studying this for decades, and at this point we can basically tell you how inbred your parents were and how delayed that's gonna make you. We're still figuring out what most of these other genes actually do. So the real question becomes: can we take the part we already understand and use it to actually move the needle on your life. I mean I did, so yeah. #genomesequencing #workout #fitness

Ryan, love your content, and I’ve been following a few of your exercises for a while now. A couple of years ago, I did my DNA through 23andMe it was interesting, but nothing life-changing.
About two months ago, though, I took my raw DNA data, combined it with seven years of MyFitnessPal logs, workout data, and three years of full blood panels covering 150 biomarkers, then fed it all into AI. It completely changed my life.
I now know exactly what my body needs, what works for me, and what doesn’t. Honestly, this kind of personalised health insight should become part of national healthcare policy.

Great video Ryan. Have you considered creating a service or an app that decodes the genome and give recommendations on peptides and supplements Like you I have ADHD and the MTHFR gene. Started taking methylated vitamins and lab work completely changed. It seems like you are one of the few not demonizing peptides. It would be amazing to have a service that could give recommendations based on your genome, telomere length, and lab work. That would be one of the few subscription services that i would consider paying for. Cheers and great work as always!

Have you done any research into who the major manufacturers are Really curious who’s actually profiting off of this because I’m running across a lot of AI generated podcasts and books promoting peptides. Just seems like more than normal compared to a lot of other biohacking and health related trends. I’ve been following in the last 20 years. I’m not saying they’re not beneficial, but the literal inhuman amount of advertising just seems really suspicious.

BUYER BEWARE: Genomic testing is no longer the cutting edge it once believed to be 10 years ago. Environmental factorsnutrition, sleep, physical activity, and relationshipsgenerally exert a greater influence on health than genetic variation alone. Even in cases of inherited disease, modifying the environment often remains the primary therapeutic approach, except in rare instances where targeted gene-editing therapies, such as CRISPR-based treatments, are available.

Do some research and check how much garbage these is and give. Dont know about this actual test but there is videos of people sending in dna from other animals and the same results as if it was a human genome being sent in. About the same garbage as the old dna tests to see if your kid was yours - extreme amounts of faulse negativies and fauls positives - same as dna testing on crime scenes that have put many perhaps innocent in jail.

Love this! It reminds me of golf instruction today. so many variables and too much information! If we just swing the club as our body is suited for and knows how to do, we can all do it! Just workout. eat better, and go to sleep at night! Lol. Mental masturbation can be fun, but most of us just need to enjoy life and try to be healthy. As a former Special Ed. teacher, I do admire you though for the humor and the info!

2 questions and ye4s i am serious about them. I'm not being a smart ass.
ryan,
you are/were in pretty good shape before you did this genome stuff. do you think knowing this will make a significant difference in your training or is it too early to tell
you mentioned that sometimes you work out in the afternoon. isn't it better to exercise in the morning because, for men< your testosterone levels are higher

First video I've seen of yours. You said a ton of things but not one of them I'm able to repeat. I would like to do this but do I need a master's degree first You didn't seem to give any guidance or really break anything down. You were talking as if giving a presentation to medical students. I might just be an idiot but I would love to try something like this. I just don't want to have to get degrees in chemistry and genetics

So if the place you used is not recommended, what place would you recommend or try Having the data with no actionable info is pointless. I do suppose you could run it all through AI and see if that kicks out some useful actions. I'm not sure AI has enough trained into it yet to make real life changing suggestions for this type of thing yet, but its coming for sure.

Can't you just dump the entire file into your favorite LLM and write a few paragraphs of what you want it to do with that information and come up with a pretty decent plan and then regularly dump your blood test into that same chat to see how you're making improvements and have it help you adjust from there LLMs are incredible when you have that amount of information

I see you took a little looksee at nurri I drink that and just realized it’s a milkshake not a meal replacement. 30 G protein is a good thing I’m not sure this is considered a health shake per your standards. I suggested it and for that I apologize if it was a tell on my ignorance towards knowing what’s good for me and a waste of your time.

8: 13 realize that genes arent static and change based on how you live and what you go through. This is a great example of a gene expression that goes on or off based on what you eat and how you train. Go keto and run instead of lift and you will see a shift. The old idea of genes being static has been proven wrong for more than 20 years now. Cheers

You just gave Fauci his next bit of information. Anyone that gets a dna test done for family knowledge is handing the government free information to create new diseases and new viruses to kill certain people. Think before you just hand this information over to some random online company. They aren’t so random if you look deeper.

Ryan where did you go to get all that done Id be interested became doctor's cant explain why my testosterone cant go over 300 total and being 300 pounds of muscle I did get hit by a drunk driver that damaged my pituitary gland. But I definitely like a closer look into thing. I was told a good reason would be my mystatin levels

Pharmacogenomics is very interesting area of study that unfortunetly doesn't get enough interest. There are many areas in medical practice where knowing metabolizer status would simplify the ususal trial and error proccess of trialing different medications.

9: 29 Skin suit I thought it was a ball sack
I'm only messing! My skin is effed to shit because my eczema got really bad between the ages of 20-31.
It's a lot better now, but it can have flare ups.

my wife has phd in this gene stuff so i have my dna file. so i started to research what i suppose to eat and supplement like 4 years ago because i got some autoimmune condition. so i get what you are doing

Uh was there a point to this video Like is there something I should be taking away from this I could be wrong but this seemed like just a rant about your personal genome, nothing more. Did I miss something
reply

Most of the gene testing and regulations from gene testing is absolute pseudo science nonsense. There is little to no evidence that it helps anything other than the labs and the supplement industry

I have a similar head harness. But it has a rubber ball attached and is black, and often gets used on a Saturday night and somehow costs around $400 an hour. (but that’s another story)
