Ready to make sure every workout you do induces growth and helps you build muscle? I have a few people reach out after the last video and ask how can you say that you make sure that you are going to grow after every workout, is that even possible. For me that's an easy yes, while you can't control everything, you can ensure that your time in the gym is well spent. What that looks like is doing the hard exercises and doing them the hardest possible way you can come up with

Ryan, you put me right back in the team rooms with your straight faced but comedic honesty. So refreshing to hear the unvarnished truth and bare knuckled advice of how to get soul crushingly strong. For all those begging for sets and reps you're missing the point. Pick up the weight, connect with the muscle group, maintain form, and rep it out till you're pissed off. The mind controls the body, the body does not control the mind. In the words of Mando, this is the way.

Overtraining. Excuse for the weak who don't like pain. Try 25-28 sets with 4-5 chest exercises. then finish with what you got left for shoulders for another 3-4 exercises for 14-16 sets. yea that's the kind of pain you need. Will you do it again in 2 days. no that's overtraining a body part that hasn't recovered ( I know done that, ouch) but 4-5 days later you can rock it hard again and change it up!

HELP! I CANNOT seem to find a mind-muscle connection with my brachialis. I have Bowflex SelectTech dumbbells, (the 1090's) a pull-up bar and a bunch of exercise bands. I've been working out for a while and have watched a bunch of your videos but I'm stuck. I've done a lot of different kinds of curls but I'm not getting much width out of my biceps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think your funny as hell-- witty fir sure. I been paying attention to the different ways you can lift just by changing the angle, and eliminating supporting body parts for better muscles growth. For your full body workouts, is it a 5-6 day split? And how many sets we are talking about per workout? Does include working out muscle twice a week? Loved to give you my business -

I used to do squat like you mentioned (4 sets of 10-12) then I changed to the way you did hack squat (one half way range of motion then one full range of motion alternating) I lowered the weight and my legs killed me! I hate that exercise the most but I still do it.

A sociopath is someone who doesn't mind hurting others, a masochist is someone who like hurting themselves. Not out to correct or critique, I was acting out of defense cause I felt attacked for being polite and called out at the same time.

Right on Ryan! I lightened all my lifts up over 7 years ago focused on intensity by slowing the tempo. It's been grueling but I've made the most progress as an older guy. Discipline, diet and recovery highly contributed too of course.
