I have been lifting for about year. Im obsessed with the gym. I got good results. I have not focused on strength tho so not very strong. 100kg squat for reps and 80kg bench for reps, deadlift 125kg for reps. My question is should I still do novice program and use little bit ligther loads and see if I can Milk some More linear progress that way? I have seen programs that say that you should lift fairly light when starting. I never did that. Never been on program, always learned on my own and did what I thought was right. I have been lifting to failure a lot. Like rpe 9 on almost all the time I lift. To increased strength should I use lower rpe to start with?

Totally agree with number 5, in high school I used to do this super set thing for my biceps with 3 different curl variations with a 30 second break between supersets and no rest between exercises and my arms are definitely my most developed area. I'm 5'8- at 14-15 percent body fat 195lbs with 17- inch arms (natty. I actually find volume and intensity, not necessarily weight gives me the best muscle gains.

Question, I have recently got back into lifting after 15 years or so. Is it normal to see huge gains in triceps, biceps, and quads when starting out and not so much elsewhere. I'm hitting everything pretty good or at least I think I am. Thanks.

Bro be careful at 0: 46 I could see your brother swinging the barbell for a curl he could get tendonitis because I have swing dumbbells for curl and got tendonitis which took a week to heal

Most bros are Wayyy bigger than science people.
You train to failure, and Rest as long as you need, And push past goals you set for each set, you will be good

You should release an e-book, you-d definitely sell more and I-m sure we wouldn-t mind paying $20-25 dollars for your e-book to support your content. -

1. Feel the muscle (mind-muscle connection)
2. Chase the pump
3. More volume
4. Specialization training
5. Drop sets and supersets
