3: 20 So if I adjust layer Opacity or Fill instead, is that undoable by default?
5: 01 Very useful! But can you tell us from what version of Photoshop these options are available? I wish all your videos would state which version of PS started offering a given feature.
8: 40 Yeah but 1 change us doable but a 2nd wrecks it all. Your scifi analogy doesn't explain why 1 change is undoable but a 2nd is not.
9: 30 Nice but what is the disk consumption like with this on?

Hello Unmesh, thanks for the great video. I would be interested to know how all this affects the performance of Photoshop. In my experience, many protocol steps drastically degrade performance, especially when working with a large number of layers and drawing areas. If smart objects are added in large quantities, it overloads my system quite heavily. Do you have any tips on this topic? I'd be very interested in that.

I've always had issues with Photoshop crashing and I often work with smart objects. Is there a way of saving the content of a smart object? I think the autosave function only saves the master file? I try to get around this by manually saving periodically, but sometimes you just forget.

Thank you. I have been wondering and frustrated by situations where undo does nothing - especially when further editing a snapshot and losing all there previous history. Great analogy ofc hangin the past and losing the present.

Thank you! Could you do something similar for recording actions please? I always get error messages when I run the ones I make so I know there are some pitfalls to be aware of.

I wonder why these history options you show are not defaults? Seems like they should be. Is there a reason not to turn on those options?

What about saving the steps when saving the TIFF? History deletes for me. Am I doing something wrong?

So what is the downside of having history record everything? Does computer power/memory start to fail?
