Question Please. I am trying to do this, but I am having a problem. I have followed the steps exactly, but I can't use my spot healing tool on the Blemishes Layer. If I click on the original layer it works as seen, but then I am editing the original layer instead of editing the new layer. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

its not taking the blemishes out when i select the new layer it only takes them away if i do the spot healing on the background. what am i doing wrong? Okay never mind i found it. You have to check sample all layers to paint on the new layer so you don't damage the original

Hey I downloaded this to practice on. For some reason when I use spot healing too it only affects the background image layer and not the blemishes layer. Can anyone help me?

Even easier and faster way to temporarily get crosshair in the brush cursor is to press caps lock on the keyboard. To turn it off simply press caps lock again.
