Stick drift can be a problem - even on Valve's popular Steam Deck! Luckily there we can replace the default sticks with hall effect versions that don't suffer from stick drift and can feel even better. RedWyvern: My Steam Deck soon developed some drift, though still well within the factory deadzones.
I tuned them as small as I could and this has been stable, if they degrade further I will instantly notice drift and will compensate with the setting.
Which if this gets too bad, I will replace the sticks with Hall-Effect ones, but as long as the original sticks work well, no need to replace them yet.
Good guide on the upgrade, though it did not cover the A/B board revisions compatibility of the stick modules, which is an important detail.
