My god a 3080ti at 115 watts is so pointless. Wattage really handicaps these laptop gpus. A 3070ti at 140 watts will outperform this or at least be equal to. So when going for a -gaming- size notebook def look at the wattage of -tgp- of the gpu and get the highest wattage you can out of the gpu. Never get a 3080 pr 3070 that is between 80 and like 115 for the 3080 and 80 and 100 watts for the 3070. At that point you would be better off getting a 130 watt 3060, it would out perform a lower wattage 3070 or even come close to a 80 watt 3080.

I recommended my good friend an Aorus 15 with a 3060 and the tricked out 4k colour accurate panel. He was so happy with it until the third day. He went to pour a cup of coffee and came back to a blank screen and illuminated keyboard. Unfortunately something went wrong and it had to be sent away. Thankfully Gigabyte was great from the beginning and he should receive his computer back sometime this week. Overall 2 week turnaround. I was surprised as I've been building with Gigabyte components for 11 years and have never had an issue

Why would you pay for a 3080 ti if you arent getting the full 155-175 watt dynamic boost spec. Just get a cheaper 3070 or 3070 ti with a higher power limit and it will most likely outperform. Only real use case for 3080 ti seems to be for creators who need the 16gb of vram you get on the 3080 ti
