I will finally be happy when its AM5 platform is out already, I would like to upgrade but I am just holding out for the better features and we are honestly too close.
LOL the cable It in all likelihood a 2x6Pin to 1-12 pin connector, What the Hell is there to freak out about, If anything it makes cable management easier.

Yeah PGA versus LGA -1 you have cringe moments putting it in, the other you have cringe moments taking it out.
Its waist 1-sensor and both Feet 1 sensor each.
Apple buying TSMC - Hell would freeze over Apple doesn't have enough money, they could buy GloFlo not TSMC the sales figure would be beyond what Apple is capable of spending.
Samsung has an excellent Fab, Their 8nm process has the same Transistor Density as TSMC's 7nm+ they also have the better advantage of a better metal pitch on the gate layer, so in theory it should have less leakage and be more efficient. So there is the possibility that maybe NVidia didn't want to be held hostage because of price hikes for Fab lines.
Meh Apple is irrelevant in the PC space, they can go play around in their garden all they want with the sheep getting herded in marketing circles.
Arm devices will never outpower in brute force what a x86 PC Processor is capable of, sorry its a pipedream of people dreaming and frothing at the mouth wince the early 80's, they have been saying it since then and it never happened just like the death of the PC.

Just to be clear the -different covers- (for Intel CPU sockets) that Gordon is describing (at - 57: 00) are usually the result of trying put the wrong SIZE socket cover on an Intel socket - (i. e, an LGA775 cover onto an LGA115x socket, an LGA115x cover onto an LGA1366 socket, etc) - which WILL crush pins! However (at least for LGA1150/1151/1155/1156) all Foxconn, HB, Lotes, and TE Connectivity covers ARE interchangeable within the same size/type socket.

In theory this new power cable seems like a nice idea to help clean up cable clutter. On the other hand, it's probably a masked attempt at pushing PSU makers to only support Nvidia cards by default (by not shipping standard 8+6 pin cables in the box) or making it harder for OEM/SI customers to upgrade to AMD GPUs.

Windows will be fine regardless what Apple does because Apple has never been able to compete on price/performance. They are always much too expensive which is why their marketshare has never been more than around 10%
