BAD ADVICE! If you wait until the newest chipset of anything to come out, you and thousands of others both actual consumers and scalpers a like will have already scooped it up then sell it at a premium as always. So you may have buyer's remorse buying a upgrade part now, but you won't see that new card for purchase until mid 2021 when the scalpers stop buying them.

I'm runnin a 970. Really great card but really showing its age with the 1080p gaming I do. Really want to upgrade but phuck PC gaming cards for now. Folks are padding their pockets so they are pricing them crazy. Just want a 1080p futureproof card with 8gb of VRam with a warranty and they want $400+ for it lol. Maybe winter sales might have better pricing.

Nah this is kind of ridiculous. He even says it around 2: 30. There's ALWAYS something coming out by the end of the year. Literally best value for the money right now is a used 2070 super which you can pick up for 300-400. Saying now is a terrible time to buy a card is just clickbait hype.

I got myself a MSI GTX 1660 SUPER Gaming X paired with my Ryzen 5 3600 and it's a great 1080p combo. Great placeholder until the newer generation is revealed. I don't think I'll be an early adopter of the new cards and will wait for price drops next year.

I-ve been using a shitty GTX 970m - yes remember when they made laptop variations of graphics cards. I hate it and cannot wait to upgrade to 3080 with 1440p at 200+ hz monitor

My original plan is to get the rx 5700 xt for my (first pc build) I-m buying it on the 27th of this month. If u can-t get a rx 6800 or a 3070 I-ll continue with the 5700 xt
