you will learn how to add full-screen video backgrounds to your WordPress website using the free Elementor Page Builder plugin. You can choose any YouTube or self-hosted video, and embed it by adding its URL to the section. You will learn how to set the video: - Start and end times - Fallback image (seen on mobile devices) - Background overlay - Blend modes

Elementor is a good page editor. I have the pro unlimited. The following would be nice improvements to this feature. Rather than using a still image to display until the video is cached and starts, allow use of a lightweight animation loop as a preview for the 2-secs or so prior to the actual video. Next. The ability to assign text slides to the timeline, IOW, certain video scenes (right now, one can only play text slides every xx seconds.

i have created duplicate headers - one that is mobile responsive, and other desktop and tab responsive. The video link features only in the header that is desktop/tab responsive, yet the sound of the video plays in the background of the mobile. I cannot understand how this is happening. I'm going nuts trying to fix this. The mobile view shows image only, however, the sound of the video can be heard. Help anyone?

Keep seeing people saying it works on mobile. I'm on the latest version of elementor and still don't have an option for this. Every site with video background always uses fallback image on mobile. If anyone can show me where the setting is (it's not under responsive settings for sure) I'd appreciate it

This was a very frustrating video. You show at the beginning a full-screen video that stays behind the nav bar (what I want), but then your example only shows how to change it for a section (not what I want). I love Elementor, but not finding the answer to this seemingly simple issue is irksome.

it's super frustrating that after several hours working on the design ... My background video isn't seen on other mobile devices. I've sent a ticket to the customer service reporting this issue but I didn't get any reply. I considering asking for money back.

I loved the tutorial but I have a problem. When I'm building the page, I can see the video with no problem, but when I see the final result, the video is shown in a thin line. Can it be a problem with the theme I use?

My video only loops once :( I even have the -Play Once- option off. An alternative idea I have is can I make it play once, then it shows the fallback image after? Instead of showing a frozen part of the video?

Hi thank for a great detailed video. I m facing a problem though. Once i update and review the saved page the fallback image shows first on the site and then the video comes. Any idea how to fix that?

is there a way to add a background video using costum css?? I'd say your page would load faster that way.
Besides, I actually want to get rid of the videoplayer controls. any way to do this????

I have added a video per the tutorial...looks great and very easy! But my video stops at the end and won't replay. Does anyone know how to fix this or what I've done wrong?
