Thanks a lot, Mr.Kevin Stratvert, for this Texting lesson.
Congrats.
But it has some problematic issues while I tried to install it in an Asus PC.
You said, that this small software can be installed on any PC, but when I started the Installer, it displayed error message, that the product is not compatible with the processor.
Also, after I installed it on my Dell Vostro, it was too difficult to un-install it.
Can you, please, clarify?
Thanks.

I was able to install from store without registry key. But I got a -Computer does not meet minimum requirements to run this app- I had to create the registry myself. I did not have one. Right-Click>New>String. Also, phone was already paired to PC via bluetooth dongle. Had to forget device and start the setup again. Then everything worked as expected!!

I have Default , but not the location I am in - I copied and pasted what you had but do not show StoreContentModifier. I do have Default but I also have PrimaryWebAccountID Type = Reg SZ. I am using a Surface Book 2. Can you please assist?

This all worked for me on my home built desktop running windows 10. I did have to do the registry key a couple times. I Impatiently installed dell mobile connect before doing all of his steps, and I had to uninstall it and follow the video in that order to get it to work. Stoked I can control my iphone with my mouse and keyboard now.

Hi Kevin, I didn't have the line that was supposed to be changed : StoreContentModifier Registry Value: Dell_Xps in the registry. I did have the install button when I searched for the DMC but when I go to open it, I get a message that says my machine doesn't meet the minimum requirements. Any ideas?

For anyone who is getting the error -Device does not meet the minimum requirements- once you've downloaded the app. you need to add another string value in the registry editor in the same place named -OEMID- and type in -DELL- as the value. and restart your pc.
