Dear Kevin, you are such a great instructor. I try to learn video editing, following your instructions along. However, I just started, there is a issue, as soon as I click on the video in my list, if I set on Editing mode, the ShotCut will turn off itself. But it won-t do that, if it set on Player or Logging. Can I edit my video not in the Editing Mode? My computer is Dell PC, Window 10 ( I scare Window 11 ).

IVE HAD TWO PROJECTS COMPLETLY ERRASED. DO WE HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING TO KEEP SHOTCUT FROM ERRASING PROJECTS BEFORE THEIR FINISHED OR IS THERE A TIME LIMIT TO MAKE A VIDEO OR... IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MUCH VIDEO THAT CAN BE USED SUCH AS 90 MINUTE VIDEOS OR SHORT FILMS?-

Thanks for the tutorial. I lost my favored Movie Maker going from XP to W10 a few years ago. I know, Movie Maker was nothing special, but it worked for me and the replacement in W10 stank. Shotcut looks promising, I'll give it a try. Thanks again.

I have a question, for some reason shotcut is really laggy and the playback is very low framerate, even though I have an amazing computer with a top-of-the-line graphics card, does anyone know what might cause this and how I might fix it?

Shotcut as a free program helps a lot of content creater! However, especially in the beginning it is quite hard to get into it. For this reason, such videos are tremendously helpful for everyone!-

Thanks for the tutorial. I was surpise with the result. Also, my pc is def not powerful enough - preview lagging while scrolling through the clips. Big thanks !
