Here's how the Japanese justice system works. Nintendo sues, Nintendo wins. In the entire history of Nintendo, there hasn't been an instance when they'd lose a lawsuit. They either attack the person/company with so much legal crap that at least somewhat pertains to the case they give up and get torn apart by Nintendo or in cases when they have zero legal ground to stand on they just drag the legal proceedings on until the other party runs out of money and gives up, after which Nintendo picks the corpse apart. Either way, they win.
And this time Nintendo winning is an especially horrifying prospect as it will mean not only the death of Palworld but the monster catcher genre in general as nobody will dare to make such games because the second they get too popular Nintendo will destroy their company and ruin their lives and it also opens up the very real possibility of other companies starting to abuse the patent laws in gaming world as well, meaning the death of indie games in entirety.

Could we have the re-test video divided into segments PER update Like a baseline first with ALL the data of your starting point, and then each segment contains the best/major performance changes (negative and/or positive) in comparison, each segment adding an update each time.
Not sure if I'm explaining myself right, but I feel that video is going to be an INSANE time and energy sink for you guys, and it'll end up being like 30 minutes of a huge vomit of data with all the different updates happening. No updates applied, all updates, just one update, one on one off, then the other way around, then how much % gains each update brings (if any) etc, etc.
Ancient Gameplays did this test already with Windows update and it was an excellent video, but if that keeps changing over and over is going to be insane. Maybe think of a way of making it digestible for us idiots.

Yep, making the changes to the Tryx case will be expensive, much more expensive than if they hadn't made so many, even more egregious errors experienced people should have known not to make in the first place. I think they need to work on the command structure of the financial side of decision making as related to engineering and design, because engineers, given the room to move and respecting their reasons for designing certain ways that cost more than any number of non engineers had in mind, meanwhile they may be blowing a whole lot more on not so effective advertising... in order to build an image, which a great product can do by sheer word of mouth even if a bit slower, and mean a whole lot more if they just keep that up, do simple, low thrill and honest advertising, and make the products make the reviewers and users create the hype.

I think its a good thing Intel lost the SOC negotiations with Sony, given what's happening with 13th and 14th gen CPUs, plus the fact that if they were also handling graphics, the PS6 would have crippled Sony's sales, even more than Sony's own current data hoarding and greed for pricing. For an example of how bad the gaming performance could have been, look at MSI's claw, as much as Arc has come a long way, it would have set the PS6 back to the PS4 era, because Arc just really isn't that competitive, especially for fidelity, which is what Sony is after. Gamers want a solid FPS of 60 or better, and games to at least somewhat look good. I don't think Arc could have delivered that for Sony.

There won't be a 5090 this year and the reason is obvious.
NVidia are waiting for the result of the US election.
If Trump wins then NVidia can be certain that the sanctions with regard to China will end, and their gravy train of selling their high end stuff to the Chinese government/miltary will continue on steroids.
If Harris wins then NVidia can be pretty certain that the sanctions on China will be increased, and they won't bring out a 5090 at all, but rather a 5080 with DLSS 4 which will, of course, not be compatible with 40 Series products. And they will reintroduce the Titan class of GPUs.

First thanks for the shirt. Love it. and now a minor side, IF Nintendo wins the palworld suit, and IF they make it so that Pocket pair has to take the game down, I hope there are enough gamers that want to sue the the Big Needy Greedy Tendo to get our money back. Sitting around scratching your knuts while hurting your brain trying to come up with a reason to sue is Not a Me Problem, its a N problem. Meanwhile more and more people have bought the game so, N can either put up or shut up. Jerking consumers around, changing launchers, coming back later and trying to take something away is stealing.

23:30 Don't believe that mess from Reuters, Intel unfortunately never had a chance with Sony due to their graphics if I had to guess. Sony now wants to maintain a certain level of backward compatibility and functionality with the PS5 as there is a rumored handheld in the works as well for the PS6 and depending on who you ask this may be why they are working on getting their previous libraries running on their modern consoles. But as this is a rumor who really knows.

This is why the only games i've ever pirated belong to Nintendo. I don't like what palworld did; i think stealing ideas and piggybacking is scummy. But what's even worse is when a company (Nintendo) is so thoroughly greedy, corrupt, and insane as to sue their fans over Romhacks and fanart. All while limiting access to previous titles. Any other Company would be ecstatic and grateful to have a fanbase as ravenous as Nintendos - they wouldn't abuse them.

Love your vids. I was wondering if I could ask your opinion. I just bought this computer this morning. Do you think it's a good purchase or should I have waited
Thank you for your time and great info!
CLX - SET Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D - 32GB DDR5 5600 Memory - GeForce RTX 4080 Super - 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD 6TB HDD
I got it for $2999 plus tax.
I will mostly be using it for PCVR.
Thank you!

I really don't see why any brand be it Intel, amd, nvidia, etc. Would have any issues with making a video on the process of making a cpu or anything else. Yes, they have a right to worry about the secret sauce being leaked all over the internet, so take precautions, and I'm sure Steve doesn't want to get sued into oblivion. But in the name of education, they should be all for it, it's good press for everyone.

Most patents should honestly just be thrown out. They're supposed to protect innovators from big companies stealing their innovations. They're mot supposed to be used to restrict competition in a free market. Most of them are so broad, even industry standard, that they can only ever be used to do the latter.
Nobody should be able to patent having an arrow point you in the right direction.

Can everyone else imagine like me a pokemon game running on PC Or Xbox Or PlayStation Maybe the consoles and PC could have brute forced the scarlet and violet pokemon games. The switches hardware SUCKS. Wish Nintendo would send devs to use their wizardry for PlayStation and xbox. Then Nintendo would send their games to actual good hardware instead of suing everyone for everything

Ubisoft just pulled out of Tokyo game show.
Turns-out the backlash against Ubisoft for making-up false historical claims to shove a black in the role of a samourai isn't just a few far right nazis and pretty-much everyone dislikes historical revisionism.
Their non-apology containing lies again didn't help ( there is no debate ; there never was a black samourai ).

They literally patented basic shit ya might want to use in a creature-catcher, then barely even used it themselves. Hell, ya can't even AIM pokeballs outside of battle except in Legends Arceus. and for inside the battle it's Let's GO Eevee And Pikachu.,..if that even counts. And the thing is, Pocketpair used the open-world style catchign FIRST, in Craftopia.

Buying up a bunch of top tier companies is such a we're just about to file for bankruptcy in a couple of years move. It's something that consistently happens over and over again and makes the world a worse place in which to live and is also on my bingo card. I'll be sad if Corsair goes away. Their RAM and power supplies have been extremely reliable.

To understand ion implantation, think about firing a machine gun into a tree. In semiconductor manufacturing, you are shooting dopant ions into the silicon substrate. The depth depends on the speed of the ions. The distribution depends on variations in the speed. The amount of doping depends on the number of ions.

this guy sees himself as a hardware suprer hero when in reality IS HE HAS RECOMMENDED SOME REALLY BAD PRODUCTS , JUST 1 SIMPLE EXAMPLE! DYE IN A WATER COOLED SYSTEM . PLASTIC TUBING IN A WATER LOOP . LOOKS GREAT BUT ADDS NOTHING TO COOLING . less adapters which is indeed cheaper. it also adds crack risk.

i still don't really see the types of cases i want to see reviews of, which are slimmer small factor ones. like the Sliger Console and Cerberus, i've already seen all the reviews of, the Skyreach S4M, S4T, O5L, they're a bit too specialised for most reviewers, but thats exactly what i actually wanna see.
