and ppl wonder why theres So Much Demand for PS5 and Xbox SX or why ppl are Still buy PS4 like crazy Companies with their GREED are Literally Killing PC Gaming hell a Crappy Gamer Chair Cost 3 to 5 Times More then same Size Office chair from Real Leather with lots more functions like recliner
anything Branded for gaming is 5 to 10 Times more expensive then it should be and this is on top of the already Insanely Overpriced tech i work in that industry and can tell you that All tech sold now is a PURE SCAM for GPU Companies are Making from 500 to 1000% Profit on Single GPU after everything is Paid and After the Store get its cut

Why doesn't Nvidia fix their driver limitation? Seems like a no brainer at this point. I guess they feel they don't need to bother, since the raytracing on AMD's cards is absolutely awful. Also, when you're dealing with 150-170fps already, there really aren't monitors with that high of a refresh rate anyway.

You almost have to ask the question, Who is this card for? At least with the 3090 you can kind of justify it with ppl who do heavy production workloads that use CUDA and alot of VRAM. But honestly I look at the 6900 and 6950XT like why? Its not great at Ray Tracing, no dlss, no NVENC, no CUDA. I don't get it.

I gotta say, I'm still happy with my second hand gtx 1080 I got for 450 in around 2018 during the last mining crash.
For 1440p it's no longer the max every setting card it was for me when I got it but it's certainly letting me bide my time and wait for the next good deal on cards

It was bad when Nvidia did it MULTIPLE POINTLESS REFRESHES with GA102 (3080 10gb/12gb, 3080 Ti, 3090, 3090 To)
It's still bad when it's AMD.
The only good thing about all of this is that now people have at least a bit of choice to buy something else.

You mentioned that you use the 3090 for editing, instead of the quadro. That's great info for me, as my wife was wanting a video editing machine. Would this 6950 XT compete on that level? It would be nice to save a few hundred buck vs the 3090.

I find that the VRAM in the 3090 is a great thing for high-end VR applications and games. I know most games won't use that but Simulation games in VR eat up VRAM. Worth the extra bucks over AMD? Possibly if you spend a ton of time in VR.

I d be interested in seeing the difference between the 6900 XT and the 6950 Xt when both are wattage and voltage unlocked through MPT. Compared to the first leaked TimeSpy Scores they seem to be almost identical.

6950XT has a premium price over original 6900XT, which was basically overpriced 6800XT that existed because 3090 existed to begin with. Price is climbing because board directors want more money with less RnD investments.

I don't get how AMD even thinks of charging a premium when they don't even have a equivalent CUDA platform, no DLSS, no RTX, no NVENC, yet they think they are the market leader lmao. This is not the CPU market.
