I'm all for some conservation but I've only eaten lake trout one time and it came from Ontario. Absolutely delicious! I don't care for most fish and I'm very picky about which I eat but one of those lakers would be on it's way to the grill with a dinner date with butter and garlic. No shame whatsoever.

It's true the bigger the fatter the lake trout is the older he is they take forever to grow in cold water I only caught two of my life there so hard to catch
