survival A lot happens in this episode - I move the wood fired stove into the sauna to keep me warm while I build the log walls of the sauna, I renovate the kitchen in the log cabin with some rustic wood elements, I cook braised beef and camel stew on the woodstove and I dig out my building materials from underneath a ton of snow

Oddly enough, my 11 year old grandson told me yesterday that one of his goals in life is to try all kinds of meat to see how it tastes. He, poor fella, loves hunting and fishing but doesn't have many family members who have time for him. He asks ME to take him! I'm a 55 year old retired nurse who can't bait a hook, let alone feel comfortable letting him hold a gun! How I would love for him to have such a 9ne as you in his life.

It would be nice if you prayed before meals. Much like Duck Dynasty. Your programs have much of the same vibe and feel of that kind of show with less of the humor but the down-to-earth approach. I think you would draw a lot of people to your content as long as you're a believer and sincere about it. Love the program. Thank you for sharing with us. It brings me much needed peace when I watch. God Bless

Shawn really enjoying your videos. Wanted to ask you about Chaga mushroom tea. Where do you get it? Can you percolate it like coffee and can you buy it in
grounds? I am new to this so have lots of questions. I watched a bunch of youtube videos and most boil it for 6 hrs. Don't want to wait 6 hrs to enjoy, Can you give me a few tips?

What an epic journey you are taking us, only dreamers on! I Love what you are doing and I wish I would have done this when I was younger! Now it is a dream I failed to accomplish! But I can watch you doing what I always wanted to do! Thank you Shawn!

In the video titled Wood-Fired Sauna Stove and Kitchen Reno, Ep. 11, you use a hand chisel to trim the overlap/dip.
In another video (I admit I lost track) you are using a chain saw. Please explain.

It's cold. I can tell by the sound the snow makes as you walk in it. I remember hearing it squeak a high pitched sound sometimes when I grew up in Gravenhurst, many years ago now. Great memories. Thank you.

I see that you use a lot of butter, have you ever used GHEE before? I use it vey often and I love the buttery taste, of course it is clarified butter and has a long shelf life even if not refrigerated.

When you kindly explained to Cali, were not throwing it in the cabin. She's like, WHAT? And what exactly are we going to do? LOVE the content & your amazing ability to capture God's creation. well done!

It simply amazes me that you can cook something up there in your cabin and when it is plated up. it looks like you are dining in a 5 star restaurant. I love to eat! Lol. Bravo Mr. James!
