This video is about snowshoeing to Silver Peak in Killarney Provincial Park. John: What a view! I have a silly question for you. Having never visited any of our Provincial parks, I'm wondering if they're all open in the winter? If not, is it okay to hike/camp there anyways if they are closed? I was stranded at the driveway to Silent Lake park a couple of days ago at 3a. m. and I feared setting up camp there for the night [tresspassing? ]. Ended up sleeping in my tiny little car instead. It was bloody awful. And cold.

Thanks for sharing this. Is Silver Peak much better than the Crack? We are heading up there at the end of this month. We are staying in a yurt. Can the hike to Silver Peak and back be done in a day or does it require camping in a tent?

Well done When I climbed it in the fall of 2007 I found out I was unable to handle being above the tree line. Thank God for the crater at the top or I would never be able to rest & have lunch Thanks for the video, Brian nearing 76
