Garden Center Shop with Me! Today we're visiting two local garden centers and shopping for perennial anemones. There's lots of great garden design inspiration at our second stop. Will I be able to resist buying more hydrangeas? Our first stop was Hillside Acres Nursery - Our second stop was Town's Edge Greenhouse -

Danielle, I'm writing to thank you. Watching these videos is almost a meditation for me. I am transported. Your garden is literally breathtaking - I hear myself gasping often at the beauty. And, of course, it's the inspiration for my own garden. But beyond the garden, your narration is so peaceful and welcoming. The warmth of your spirit envelopes us as viewers. I never would have thought you could give people an experience like this in a gardening video. Amazing. Thank you. And I hope you have a wonderful day in your garden.

Danielle, I have a question. I have an underperforming dahlia. Should I pull this year or let it stay and hope that it performs better next year. It is Cornel Bronze, I know it is supposed to be prolific. Mine has only had a few blooms and weak color. This is my second year growing dahlias. I have limited space so that is why I am asking. We down sized and I moved from 6a NE OH to 8a SC. Thanks for any help! P. S. Here in SC we don t have to dig up our dahlias.

My juniper shrubs change color in the winter, some of my arborvitae did that too. I too have murdered my share of trees/shrubs/plants. Do not feel bad you don't row that boat alone. I love plants and always overbuy, especially if the price is great. I like a good variety of Hosta big/med/small/miniature too, lime in one side of my yard more green blues on the other. Thanks for the video.

Wow! Those are the most enviable garden centers! And your garden view at the end makes a seamless transition/continuation! My garden centers in central NY have just about closed shop for the winter, so it was lovely to stroll through yours. Thanks, Danielle!

Oh please go to these nurseries again what a beautiful area you live in, and the prices for plants are really priced well. I m in the PNW area, and our prices are almost double, and most are grown here in the Willamette area.

I have a Bloomstruck. Every cluster is a different color. Love it. Consider a Panther ninebark. Gorgeous next to lime or golden foliage. Consider getting a Frankie Boy. Blue Arrow junipers are ethereal. Great blue color.

Well, you have given me to destination garden centers to visit. What is it with hydrangeas that we never have enough? I am looking forward to seeing your gourd tree. I loved the one I saw at Longwood last Christmas.

Thank you for showing those garden centers. I'm in Little Britain Township so I will definitely check those out! You should stop by Groff's Nursery in Quarryville- they will probably have more anemones for you!

Hi Danielle, how did you resist not buying any more hydrangea lol. Thanks for sharing your garden center trip. Loved seeing your garden at the end of the video its gorgeous and your ladybug train is a hoot!

talk about plant overload. that's how I feel going to a garden center like that. bringing up the canopy of that hydrangea made all the difference in that space. looking real good.

sadly, mom's knockout roses still take a pretty good hit from the Japanese beetles. It's not as bad as my landscape varieties but they still get chowed down, we're on the same property.

I planted 15 hydrangeas this fall, can t pass up 50% off. the mix of Proven Winners limelights, little limes, and (2) First Editions Strawberry Sundae will look beautiful next year.

Check for small worms on your hydrangeas. I found them on mine to late it lost all its flowers and leaves came back and it happened again! Suspect they came from neighbors tree!

Love your garden centers, our garden center is really small! I paid 50 for a BoBo hydrangea two year's ago! Your garden looks so beautiful! Love the train and pumpkin house's!

Thank you for the tours! I'm so envious on the plant prices at your garden centers. I'm in WI and prices for hydrangea those sizes are easily 40-50 for a 2 gallon can!

I intended to go to my garden center to check for some very low price end of season hydrangeas and I almost changed my mind but now I have my keys and purse in hand
