It is amazing how many plants with receipts appear in my car when I go out shopping for setting else. It's mysterious! In my 8b garden in Austin, TX, we have had a heat wave. High 90s for days and no rain. If snapdragons aren't in the shade, they die. Almost every plant wants shade or more shade when it's hot here, and officially summer has not yet started.

You have a beautiful garden. I do not have a lot of property to plant -. I love hydreangas. I invested in the smaller pinnacle lime green hydreangas as they do not grow as big as the ones you have. Unfortunately we experienced a late spring storm in Colorado and hoping they will survive. Covered everything!

as it happens the grocery store i mainly go to receives from time to time arrivals of plants and you have to buy them when you see them as very quickly they are gone. so yes, it happens pretty often that i go just to buy groceries and come back with a load of plants or flowers, lol.

Oh my so true with me, I'm a frugal person, but plants are my weakness, I go to Costco or any of the hardware stores with my husband, I pass by the garden center just to see plants and flowers with no intention of buying, but I end ip leaving them with plants in tow! Lolol

I love your garden tours! I live in Charlotte, Nc. I-m 78 and can-t do a lot of -hands on- gardening anymore. Most of my yard is shaded with ferns, hostas and Lenten Roses. I so love how you have your garden laid out - with different rooms! Look forward to your next video --

Dahlia's are in (Omaha, NE) and my saved Jowey Morello is up! That said we're getting 36 degree nights for the next two nights! Crazy since we've hit over 95 degrees on three different days this spring. You said Creme de Casis correctly (though I may have spelled it wrong)/

Good morning from Texas! - When you get time, can you show how you secured your solar device in your bird bath with the straws you mentioned. I have a different one. I secured it with rocks around it. However, the rocks take up too much room. Love your videos! --

Fabulous! No, I NEVER go to the store and buy plants instead. just kidding! We have snow and freezing temperatures today! My dining room is FULL of plants! My dahlias are planted in #1 nursery pots waiting to plant them on. Pray not a deep freeze tonight.

I think the plant tag sizes are an average. I live in a colder climate than you and don-t really expect my plants to get as big as the tag says for a few years. But if the plant is in the perfect location I know it can get bigger than the tag says.

Wow, your American robins are huge. That was really interesting. I think our robins are about half the size. (In the uk) I love them too, so sweet. There-s always one nearby when I-m digging, hoping for easy worms: ) thanks for the video x

Totally agree on the height on tags you mentioned. At our old house we had a Limelight Hydrangea that was easily 12 feet tall and 6 or 7 feet wide. I have planted 3 here at our new place and am soooo hoping these get large also.

- me this morning after I had sworn up and down to my neighbors that I was done buy plants this year and somehow came home with five new rosebushes and two peonies to add to my growing collection of different varieties.

It would help if you put the tag picture up of the plants as you talk about them. can't tell if we would like them or the color scheme. everything is all green so it's hard to catch up with your excitement.

I have an Iris that just bloomed for me yesterday with those same colors however it's more of like one color fades into the next instead of that stripe kind of look. I absolutely love it
