They first originated in El Reno, OK. They have 3 burger restaurants there: Robert's Grill, Sids, and Johnny's Grill. Both places are very good. I used to go to Robert's all the time. I've made my own fried onion burgers before and takes mustard and dill pickles on the burger. I miss going there too.

Anyone else want to learn something awesome in a NORMAL kitchen with NORMAL tools that NORMAL people own? I don't have that grill, deep fryer, etc. I have a teflon frying pan / soup pan / baking sheet / glass casserole dish. Please make something I can COPY in my NORMAL kitchen.

Pedantic A-Hole here: To repeat on means a little more than just a burp. So, whatever else comes back up with the burp (or regurgitation, it brings the taste back as well. Always a pleasant image.

Dunno if this counts as a burger but up here in Indy we have something called the Edward's tenderloin which is a huge chicken fried steak with coleslaw on it

raw onions are dog shit. chop them up in some butter. sdalt and a little sugar to make them golden brown and yummy. you need ot get on our level. shit is so good
