My 7-year old son and I were at Costco at 3: 30 this afternoon. He picked up some baby back ribs and asked if we could have some for dinner. I told him that there wasnt enough time (it would ordinarily be a 5-6 hour process for me) but he said he had seen Sam the Cooking Guy do it in an hour and a half. I bought some and said well watch the video when we get home. Well, we did, and skeptical as could be, I said wed try it. Well, I have egg on my face. Theyre great! Thank you for the recipe. I have watched your videos before but have never actually tried one of your recipes. Im paying more attention from now on.

Love you Sam. Tons of great videos and recipes. This one. not so much. You didn't roast the ribs. You steamed them. With vinegar? Lol. At the very least try apple juice. And it takes 30 seconds to remove the membrane. Another 30 to add at a bare minimum salt and pepper. But I get what you were going for. super quick ribs for the BBQ newbs. And that's fine too I guess. But I know you're way better than this. Still a fan though! Lol.

I'm in the process of making these right now, only I made them with baby back ribs instead because that's what I had. Put them in the 350 degree oven for 90 minutes and the ribs were only half cooked. I popped them back in there right now I'm hoping they will be done in another 45 minutes. So far, unless the reason is because I'm using a different rack of ribs, this method did not work for me with the time frame he States.

I love the whole process of smoking rib as well as eating the finished product. But let's face it, sometimes you want ribs but just don't have 5 or 6 hours to invest to get them. In those instances, this is a great technique which I have used in the past. One thing I do is to apply a healthy dose of my homemade dry rub made with smoked paprika. The results are pretty darn good for what they are. Good video Sam.

Sam, I just used this method! I used two slabs in one sheet and then followed the recipe as mentioned (just added a touch more vinegar to accommodate both slabs. I used regular charcoal and a few hickory chips. maaaaaaaaan! You started something brotha! Oh, I just sprinkled a tad bit of salt and pepper before slicing them! Saved me some time but with the flavor! Sticky, sweet, and and tender l! Thank you!

OMG, these are SLAMMIN'! I used regular bbq sauce on one rack, and Trader Joes Roasted Garlic Sriracha BBQ sauce on the other, and MAN! They turned out amazing. I have a smoker, usually rub my ribs and smoke them for hours, but I opted for the propane grill for quickness sake, and I am definitely adopting this method. It really is foolproof. YUUUUUM! THANK YOU SAM!

For all the comments of smoking, rubbing and all the traditionalists. He's not telling you not to do that, but the reality is their are a lot of people who enjoy ribs, and for whatever reason either don't know how to cook them or have the time. His method allows them a foolproof way of cooking and eating them, let's just leave at that. And agree to disagree.

This recipe is 'THE TRUTH'! My family absolutely loved them and was amazed how these are truly fall off the bone! They ask for them every week now. I added some salt and pepper to my ribs before putting them in the oven for an hour and 20 minutes. That extra 5 minutes let that meat ride up the bone a little more! Thank you! You are a hero in our house!

These are the best GD, ribs ever. Better than any damn marinating overnight, at least that I've made. So, freaking simple and yet tender, moist and delicious! And, I did the whole thing in the oven! Timing, was on point. BBQ sauce was yummy, also! This will be the only way I'll do my ribs from now on. Thanks, Sam, you're the MAN!

This did not end up fool proof at our house on the 4th of July! Instead they caught on fire and became a charred pile of meat and bones! (insert sobbing) My son and I dreamed of these ALL day! This was the first STCG recipe that didn't turn out for us. I might just be the first Nailed It for STCG recipes. lol
