My grandma is from Merida and i grew up eating these dishes (my fave of all is relleno and queso relleno, i cant tell you how nostalgic i feel watching this because i currently live in Canada. The sopa the lima looked amazing and so comforting, I enjoyed every bite you gave lol i was literally drooling, i know your reviews are honest and you seem so down to earth. Mexico has awesome food, everywhere you go But Merida. Merida is the best (and i was born in Tabasco)

i just adore your wife, her laugh and smiling and the way she acts playing with micah, she's so natural God bless you btw i understand that not all of the food you tasted (especially in this episode) was not SO good as you sounded - one could determine it by the appearance - but i just appreciate your respect to everything that was served to you and to people that served it to you. this is a truly Christian attitude and thank you for sharing with us world culture

All the food in these Mexico videos look amazing Just curious though, do Mexican dishes that aren't street food tend to feature more vegetables? I'm not one of those health food pussies but I like to try to get some vegetables into my otherwise shitty diet

I love that Mexico is super diverse. The downside is that I haven't tasted many different types just what I grew up. We need more Mexican restaurants that make actual food they make in different parts of Mexico.

I've lived in the Yucatan for over 8 years and love it Merida is only 40 kms away from me and I go weekly. Beautiful town, lovely people, fabulous food. It is truly the best
