Alappuzha (also known as Alleppey, India - The Backwaters of Kerala are one of the biggest draws to Kerala, and before going, I had no idea why. After visiting, I now know that the Backwaters are one of the reasons why Kerala is known as Gods Own Country. After arriving in Alappuzha (Alleppey, we headed straight to the house-boat, a luxurious floating house-boat on the Kerala backwaters. The boat was beautiful with four full bedrooms, a full upper deck with dining room and viewing platform, and most importantly, a huge kitchen with private chefs to cook us an Indian seafood Kerala meal of your dreams #IndianFood #Kerala #Backwaters Ebbin had arranged for a huge seafood meal on the boat. As soon as we started sailing on the Backwaters, the amazing chefs started cooking. There were over a dozen different dishes, seafood extravaganza. The meal was absolutely incredible, and the scenery of the water, lakes, rivers, and lagoons, were spectacular. For the rest of the afternoon, we relaxed around the boat, and eventually docked for the evening in a small village. For dinner we had a simple Kerala meal of rice porridge, with a few different chutneys, and green gram, mung beans. Sleeping on the boat was fantastic, so quiet and peaceful, and it was a joy to wake up in the morning ready to go again. For breakfast, they made one of the best egg curries Ive ever had in my life - one of the reasons I love Kerala so much, curry for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thank you to Alleppey Houseboat for giving us a great deal on a house-boat, and for the amazing food and service. An incredible experience, and truly God's Own Country

finally, you have been to the most iconic feature in Kerala, the backwater ride i have heard this feature on a tour package to Kerala. very amazing, verdant views of the countryside and rice fields and delicious food really looking forward to seeing the part 2 of the backwater ride series including the tapping of the coconut sap for toddy and hopefully catch some fishes

I love everything about Kerala as a North Indian. Religious harmony, total outlier in human development indices compared to all other states in India, one of the safest places for women, great representation of marginalised communities of all kinds, even transgenders, in the workforce, great climate, environment, and a lot more

I dont want to bother you enjoying the vlog but there was a news report before, way back when i was in higshchool (2000) wherein a filipino kid in america (elementary school canteen) was being bullied for eating using his bare hands and was called a pig or something similar to that fashion for doing so.

I remember one incident when I went to Kerala and we to took Houseboat on the backwaters for the whole day. The man working on the houseboat broke his hand trying to tie the houseboat to a coconut tree. I cannot forget the amount of blood I saw. Hope that man is okay now.

All the episodes in the Kerala series are awesome. This one is the best. Equal or better than some of your South American and Lebanese series. Credit goes to Ebin for for taking you to every palaces, which represent Kerala's food culture.

Very cool. I think the idea of a house boat is great. I've never eaten Indian food before but it does look delicious. I would honestly prefer though to use utensils to eat as the foods all seem very saucy and messy to eat.

Come to Purwakarta in Indonesia here so many interesting foods even unique to try and especially if on Saturday we always hold kuniler tours as well as local custom events, I'm sure you will like it

I love these video's but my only complaint is there is no reference to the cost of these meals and adventures. I know costs change with time but it would be good to get a rough idea.

In almost in every spicy kerala dishes we add black pepper. known as the king of spices. And in history main trade was black pepper Portuguese came here for black pepper.

In the end photo, Marks lungi was perfect while Joel's lungi had gone above his toes. And that's how someone in Kerala looks like when he drinks toddy a lot.
