This is my favorite hot, grilled sandwich in nacho chip form, and they really were amazing. I tried to use as much restraint as possible, and not just make this a pan of loaded nachos with some tuna hidden underneath, and I think that was the key. The ingredient list might look scarce, but the final bite was exactly what I was hoping for, and I think you and your friends are going to love them.

CAUTION FELLOW BAKERS!
Beware of shrinkflation in your recipe ingredients.
I have finally figured out why several of my tried and true recipes were not turning out. (I had a cake that turned out flat and hard, a dip that was runny, a fudge recipe that wouldn't set up) Many of our recipe instructions say use a box of cake mix, a jar of marshmallow cream, a can of evaporated/sweetened condensed milk etc. Many of these packages have been reduced in weight. Make sure to check your measurements and volumes. I just wanted to bring this to my fellow cooks attention. Cheers!

I’m so glad someone else does the thing with individual chips. It’s crazy but I understand it. Same thing with cheese on crackers or pb and j on crackers. If you could do ultimate cracker snacks I’d be so happy. Also I don’t know what to do with chili honey. thanks!

Not a big tuna fan when the dish is warmed up, such as tuna casserole. I enjoy a good tuna salad sandwich, but Nachos I believe the creators of Nachos are rolling in their graves.

My favorite nostalgia meal from college dining hall is an English muffin with tuna salad on top, a slice of American cheese and a slice of tomato, broiled. I bet these are so good.

This seems so heartfelt
Doing a variation on a tuna melt
And no matter how the game goes
Smiles all around as they eat Nachos

I've totally got people coming over to watch the game soon!
Will definitely make this for the crew. My friends thank you Chef John!

I mean, I trust Chef John and all, but I think if I told the guys I was making tuna nachos for the game they may come up with other plans.

Since it’s full swing into hunting season, maybe something fun to do with wild game such as venison, pheasant, duck ect.

Made tuna me, to for dinner last night. Will use the leftovers for this for lunch. I always use tuna steaks for my tuna salad.
