The Fluffiest Glazed Donuts Recipe! Homemade Glazed Donuts ( Doughnut Recipe ) Learn how to make donuts that taste just like krispy kreme donuts if not even better! Fluffiest Homemade Donuts Recipe: 280 gr of All Purpose Flour ( 2 cups + 3 tbsp flour) 40 gr Sugar ( 3 tbsp) 1/2 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp Nutmeg 1 egg 120 gr Whole Milk ( 1/2 cup ) ( Every flour absorbs liquids differently, so you may need an extra 23 tbsp of milk) 40 gr melted Butter ( 1/3 stick ) 7 gr Dry Yeast ( 1 packet ) Glaze for Donuts: 250 gr Powdered Sugar ( 2 cups) 75 gr Butter ( 2/3 Stick ) 35 tbsp Milk depending how thin you like your glaze 1 tsp Vanilla TIP: Donuts are best freshly made. However if you'd like to make these ahead of time, once cooled store the donuts in a ziplock bag or an airtight container and just before serving pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds. They'll be as delicious as when theyd just been made

Krispy Kreme doughnuts have a very thick glaze. mind you, I haven't had them in many years, because our Local Canadian Costco doesn't sell them anymore, but hes. I remember the glaze being thicker than this. Gonna try this recipe out anyways. They look delicious.

I made these donuts following your recipe, but they were rather heavy and my dough wasn't elastic (but it was soft-ish. I am making them again, and this time I sifted my flour. When I mixed the flour, it was -sticky-! Very excited to see the end results!

I was wondering if there is a substitute for yeast, because in our city its hard to find yeast especially because its quarantine, I've Been wanting to make this but I dont have yeast. -- Hoping for your Answer

Made them today --Although adding more-Milk was an absolute must - and also adding more flour at times - other than that it was a great recipe - will definitely be using it again

I tried them and believe me home made donuts couldn-t be any better. They were amazing or beyond. I love them. The best part about them were how light they were.

Emma I've tried this recipe 100 times and I'm obsessed. Amazing. QUESTION THOUGH: can I leave the dough to chill overnight instead of waiting just 1. 5-2 hours?
