She's drinking Bourbon and Iced Tea isn't she or is it Capt'n Morgan? I grew up along the Delaware River and there are incredible stories (ghost and otherwise here in Bucks County) Interestingly, the Brit troops in WWII also got rationed beer, I think 4 pints a week. Come to our Bucks County -- the historical seat of the Revolutionary War --, I have friends who would host both of you for. a charity event? The ppl who live here love our History.

If Dawn had been my high school American history teacher ( a hundred years a go when I was in high school) I actually might have learned something about American History. If Hilah had made beer cheese soup a hundred years ago and posted it on black and white TV (or, I guess that would be a silent movie, I would have enjoyed it sooner than later. I loved the video. I love that you are back Hilah!

Watching from Michigan-s Canadian border-love it! Feels like a beautiful blend of higher-end production value coupled with a deeply local sensibility. I became a fan years ago when that irreverent goddess taught this 50-year-old heavily bearded lumberjack how to make a shit-ton of bacon using cookie sheets. It was love at 1st viewing.

HILAH! still so jazzed your back and making videos. and always liked your guest videos in the past as well, so glad to see that too! I had worked professionally in food service for almost 20 years (I am OUT! thank goodness, and still get something out of all your videos, even if it's just a nice laugh. again, so glad you are back!

When I waitressed I hated serving this soup, if was Monday soup of the day. There was always at least once a Monday that this soup would get on my hand, it was like luscious, velvety hot glue. I still have nightmares about it. The flip side was I got to lick it off my hand, tasted much better than hot glue!

On Wisconsin! It's true. if you see a crock pot in a Wisconsin bar, it's cooking something with tons of cheese in it! Beer-cheese soup is a staple here! LOL! Love the story of our Independence. :-)

What became of your show? It used to be fun times and cooking, now it's just five solid minutes of rambling about history by some guest from Wisconsin. I miss the days when you just cooked good stuff. :/

.. . no lie I just learned more history than I ever did in 4 years of high school. You know, it was probably because there was no beer! THAT'S what I did wrong! LOL! This was great fun to watch!
