Yes, Cholula (spelling) costs WAY more than it's worth. C'mon. Taco Bell sauce tastes similar. Super cheap alternatives are: Valentia regular or XX hot, Tapatio, and A La Orden. They are all about $1, per bottle. I think Valentia gives much more value, per ounce. At a carniceria or Korean market, a huge sized glass bottle is only I'm remembering less than $3. I'm sure other awesome values are out there, too. :)

A good way to make the taco shells uniform is to take a small piece of round metal that can withstand a lot of heat and wrap the it around the metal to create a taco shape and just drop it in the oil.

When I want to make the Doritos lacos tacos I just shake a taco shell in a bag of Doritos and do the filling and then I eat it duh
